Every time we've come here the food is delicious and the service is amazing. My favorite thing to get is the multi grain pancake with a chicken sausage and eggs. The potato hash is delicious too! I definitely recommend coming for breakfast or brunch with friends or family.Food: 5/5
Wait was crazy. We were a party of 6. Getting the table took 20 mins, which was great. However, it took more than 30 mins just to place the order. They are quite understaffed so be prepared for some wait time.Food is decent; nothing to write about.
I frequent the First Watch Vestavia Hills location and decided to try this one because I was on this side of town. I should give the disclaimer that this is a review after a bad experience. My girlfriend and I arrived and were seated quickly. We put our orders in with the waitress and then watched as several groups of 4-6 guests were seated, served, ate their meals, and left, before we received our meals. Clearly we were forgotten about but I've worked in the restaurant industry and have patience for this kind of mishap. Then my girlfriends meal was brought to the table by a runner, but not mine. Our server was busy tending to other tables and walking around. My food was delivered by our server as my gf finished hers. She blamed the mishap on the kitchen being short staffed, which, if she had been paying attention, would not have been the issue. I've worked both sides of the house and know better. My food was cold, except for my grits, which had apparently been microwaved before being served, because they were boiling lava hot. As a fan of First Watch, I was very disappointed in the food and service at this location. For a near $70 brunch (without alcohol), I think it's fair to expect more out of a restaurant.
Always a good time to go eat breakfast at first watch. I always try to get on the waitlist before I get there because it's always packed on Sundays family all like to eat before we travel back home. Food was hot tasteful staff was friendly restaurant was clean very busy. Bathrooms was clean and I will visit again.
The WORST service I've ever experienced. The rudeness was shocking. Didn't even make it to the food. We ended up leaving due poor treatment and bad service. If I could leave zero stars, I would.
Yesterday morning, my fellow girlfriend and I fined and dined at first watch. The male waiter, cant remember his name but it started with a D, WAS WONDERFUL. He was very generous and welcoming, respectful, and he was tipped accordingly. The food was beyond delicious and the bacon definitely worth TWO MILLION dollars. Such a friendly environment. Clean. Wonderful. Will be returning.
Delicious. Their breakfast is everything and more. Best breakfast food I've had in a long time.
Great place for brunch. Have had several different dishes over the course of many visits and I don't recall anything that I didn't like about what I had. There may be a wait depending on when you get there, but the food is definitely worth it. Service is consistently good, and the overall quality of the food is high.
Squash bisque, million dollar bacon, brisket hash, salmon Benedict. All very delicious. Server was pleasant and service was great.
I came here for breakfast with my boyfriend this weekend. We got a croque madame and a chickichanga and both were delicious! The prices here are also very reasonable. I do wish there were more coffee options, but that’s okay.
I went to First watch with my Fiance and we have been there a few times before and the staff are always really friendly and tentative. Our food arrived in a very timely manner and it tasted really good according to a chef's standards. I will definitely get attending First watch again.
I am a little bit bias here, but it's always a great experience, any day of the week and any time. The staff lead by Jason is always courteous and welcoming. The menu is always served at the right temperature and plates are presented timely.
Awesome Service.10 Stars ⭐️
The service was great and the food was Awesome..
Ate there this morning early. Food was pretty good and fairly priced. Service was excellent. However, the management needs to keep the millennials away from the music selection. I’m a musician and a lover of almost all types of music, but the last thing I am interested in listening to at 7:00 AM is monotonous hard driving dance music the entire time. Note to self and others who are like minded: Avoid this place for early morning breakfasts.
