LOVE Pho Pho. The chicken pho is the best I've ever had!! Their crab angels are so so good as well. I can't remember what my husband gets.. like a spicy drunken noodle dish that he absolutely loves too. No complaints, and we're always craving this place.
Very quaint atmosphere. Got the spring rolls and Pad Thai. Food was very fresh and hot.
Got take out, they were very nice and the flavors were good, got the shrimp pad tai and the octopus bites. It was very different from the food k usually eat but I liked it. I would definitely go back.
First visit, Just trying a new place. Yelp showed it #2 Pho in Birmingham. I think that was is very generous rating. It's a lovely place and the young lady taking orders was cordial. I came to have Pho but decided on shrimp Pad Tai. It was very sticky, almost gummy The flavor was there and the shrimp were few. I guess I should have gone with Pho. I think that would be hard to mess up. I didn't see a health rating...... for those reasons I'm out.
After holding for 8 minutes, finally had someone take my order. Nothing like the last time we ordered. I'm not picky but it was almost unpalatable, tonight's take out order. The spring rolls had lettuce, lettuce, lettuce, no flavor shrimp and more lettuce. Nothing else...no cilantro, no crunchy stick, etc. The peanut sauce was watered down and had flavor but it was gross tasting. Runny peanut sauce, really? The Pad Thai has left an aftertaste like a bad fake sweetener. It did not have the ingredients the menu sports to have. So disappointed tonight and out $30+.
We did a call for pickup yesterday. The person who took the order was friendlyand he was same person at the counter. He recalled my order before payment applied. A good in house experience. The location was bright appealing for an in house meal also. The food we ordered was good and we are adding this restaurant to our rotation.
Got the Chicken Pho and it was delicious. I placed a to go order and the food was ready when I got there. The place is super cute and the food was good. Will dine in next time.
Asian fusion restaurants can be a bit of a hit or miss. Pho Pho does great pho and their bulgogi was good. Their pad ki mao was a big miss for me. The noodles were gummy and their were no Thai chilis, instead they used Szechuan peppercorns. The flavors were a total miss for me. The girl taking orders didn't know what Thai hot means.
I can honestly say, this place was incredible. I got the Thai basil chicken, shrimp tempura, and strawberry boba. The Thai basil chicken had an incredible sauce. The tempura batter was impeccable, and the strawberry boba was way better than your average boba tea. Also, the customer service was unmatched. This place is excellent ?.
Got the chicken fried rice 7/6/22. Could easily fit all the chicken in the palm of your hand. It had only a smattering of vegetables, and then a ton of white fried rice. So I paid $12 for a batch of fried rice.
To be a pan-Asian joint, the food is actually really good. The pho is well-seasoned and delightful and the bibimbap, although not as good as at an all-Korean restaurant is tasty and more than doable. I haven't tried the Chinese options, but the Vietnamese and Korean food I've had here is on point.
Tonkotsu Ramen is tasty and delicious. A nice blend of fried pork and crunchy vegetables.
The Pho is don't walk run and the spring rolls prepare to order some to go they are so good
I've only been a handful of times but they have the type of spring rolls I like which are the clear ones. Plus they have Pho as a feature item so it's always hard to get one without the other. And if you're feeling extra you can always top it off with some boba
The food here is the story. The place is squeaky clean and inviting, and even the music is right. Ramen is near perfect with flavorful broth. The Pad Thai is solid and taste great. I really like it here.
