I purchase a Mexican Pizza Combo with a Large Pepsi. My Large Pepsi was a diet drink (yuck!!) and my Mexican Pizza taste old. I call back and they wouldn't answer the phone. So now I must post a review. Please have some pride on what you pass out the window to your customers. Food prices are at an all time high, people don't have money to waste on old food and stupid mistakes.

Drive tru experience with female (long colored braids no name badge) she threw my modified(easy on the beans) pizza in the bag. She was rude because she could be! I've contacted a leader in the area because this Location will not answer the phone. I forwarded the leader a pic of receipt/ product. Do better night shift!!!!!! Corporate location in Vestavia hills is closed so unless you know of someone that you can contact with concerns do yourself a favor and go somewhere elese. Tacala has gone down in terms of customer care no Corporate leadership to handle concerns of the community want get any more of our money will go to local authentic Mexican restaurants instead not worth the hassel to deal with disrespectful employees. Do better TACALA!!!!!!

Wanted to order at the counter but was ignored till a man came in from smoke break and took my order. I was going to pull a chair up until he took my order. Yes I was going to pull a chair right up to the counter and wait as long as necessary. So I get my food and the burrito was great but the taco was like it was straight from the refrigerator. I love Taco Bell and the workers work hard with not enough pay but I'll never go back to this one.

I visit this location a couple times a month, and at completely different times. I have never had an issue here. The staff is very polite and friendly, and they’re quick too. I always use the mobile app to order, and everything is correct. Props to this location, they are great workers.

Normal Taco Bell experience. Drive through service was quick and speedy at lunch time. Order was accurate. Employee was friendly. Food tasted like Taco Bell food.

I actually had to complement this restaurant due to me swearing to never come back to Taco Bell.I got the new Chicken Empanada box and with extra beef on the chalupa, 5 layer beef, and cheesy beef burrito.The whole reason I'm even reviewing Taco Bell is due to me adding extra beef to the items, and the amount was impressive!I always get my burritos with no rice, and the beef burrito was full of it and hearty. Same with the other items. Most Taco Bells scam you on extra meat. You typically get the same amount you get if you ordered it the regular way.I was disappointed in the Baja blast due to it needing to be switched out, and the cinnamon twists were horrible due to old grease.All in all, everything was good, and the portions were great. I will not ever patronize the ones in the city but definitely will come here when I'm in the area. This was Saturday, Feb 17, around 1:30pm. So, I want the manager to give that crew props for doing a good job and allowing me to enjoy Taco Bell again.4 belly rubs out of 5.

I chose to dine in and all staff were hiding in back and the front counter was deserted. The restaraunt was empty and no customers in drive thru at about 8:30pm. A couple was walking away from the counter to the parking lot with no food in hand when we entered (not a good sign). The staff were joking and chatting and saw my group walk in, but wouldn't come to the register nor acknowledge our presence. Eventually I noticed a kiosk to the side and finally figured out that is how I could get some food. So we ordered food and drinks and waited. When the food was ready, the kid dropped a bag at the counter, yelled my name and walked off. The drink cups were forgotten and I called into the kitchen but they continued to ignore me. So...I walked around the counter to pull two cups off of the stack. As I am walking toward the drink station a short woman wtih dyed red hair blows past the counter from the parking lot and mentions something about kicking us out of the store. I go back to the counter to ask if she was talking to me and she confirms that if I ever try to go behind the counter again I woudl be banned from the store. I explained that I tried to get someone's attention but I was being ignored so I grabbed the cups. She told me she watched it all go down from her car in the parking lot and that she is the MANAGER (with emphasis). Her team is busy working; so it was my problem that I don't have the drink cups (I guess?). I told her that there are no other customers in the store and that her staff was goofing off in back and ignoring the customers that come in. She then told me to take my food and leave the store...OK. As I was being lectured by a very rude MANAGER, another customer walked in and saw the treatment I was receiving and turned around and walked out too. This location is doing a great job of protecting their staff from being overworked. They are literally ejecting customers from the store. Congrats, they won't have to worry about my patronage bothering them ever again.Oh and the food was sloppily/incorrectly prepared and almost no meat in any of the items. In addition to the terrible treatment I received, it was definitely a poor value for the price I paid. As a business owner, I would prefer to have given this feedback to the owner of the franchise since I would like to have received the same regarding my employees. Unfortunately, I couldn't find that information handily through a web search so I am leaving it here in a public forum.

I have always ordered a three regular soft tacos WITHOUT lettuce. They seem to not understand me when I say I want no lettuce. I always get it with lettuce instead of what I ordered! I ordered in the drive thru and went home 15 mins away. When I get home I was extremely disappointed that my order was not right. This NEEDS to be fixed!

Employees will not take your order inside. They will simply ignore you while you are standing at the register. You will have to use the kiosk. This experience is based on multiple visits over a dozen months, and the last three experiences were not at peak times, nor was the restaurant busy inside or via drive thru.

Long line at the drive-thru when we got there so I went in to order. NO ONE working the counter. NO ONE. Left and got back in line. After 10 minutes the line hadn’t moved a bit so I left. I’ll never go back.

Ordered 2 party boxes soft taco supreme cause my daughter wanted it for her birthday, when we got home, it was all regular soft tacos! Missing sour cream and tomatoes! We are so frustrated. I’m not sure what they are doing at this location (Hoover the grove) in the kitchen back there but this has happened multiple times with giving the wrong order, I go back cause I try to give benefit of doubt that maybe it’s just a bad day, but it’s always wrong. We want what we pay for! Unacceptable
