I was on my way to be a guest on the Blerd Survival Guide podcast and I had a little time to kill so I popped up over to The Electric after being told many times to try it. So what are the odds that this place was only 3 minutes from my destination!Anyways I popped in and checked out the inside and it was a very cool, comfortable, and hype like establishment. I put my order in online and didn't go in until it was the said time they gave me on the order. When I went in my food wasn't ready and so I had to wait probably another 30 minutes. Staff was working hard though so I wasn't stressing about it to hard. Staff was nice and offered me water while I waited.I finally get my food head back to the car and proceeded to unbox everything. I gotta admit that visually the food looked very good.First up I had the Classic which is a Flatbread that consists of pepperoni, conecuh sausage, mozzarella, provolone cheese, and basil. This ended up being very good. Nothing crazy to wow about but it definitely got the job done. Flavors were decently balanced I think my only grip with this is the pizza sauce could use a bit more work. I still would other this again anyways so don't let that stop you. 7.5/10Lastly I got The Ballpark which consisted of country sausage, chili, cheddar cheese, yellow mustard, scallions, and hugged tight in a toasted bun. This was probably my favorite thing. The chili was so hot and tasted as if it was homemade. If it's not homemade I want to known where they buy it because it was pretty darn good. I'd eat it on its own! The sausage was very flavorful as well. The only issue with this was the bun it's definitely well toasted it was way to hard for me and shredded the roof of my mouth I would personally change the bun to something else but that'd just me. Either way this bad boy is a will order again and I give it a 8.5/10.Definitely go try this place when you get the chance it was really good and I hope I can come back soon!

The first time we went, I never got my food. We went up to the front 3 times to let them know, and they said it was coming out, never did, they had just opened, no excuse. Everyone in our party got their food but me. I didn't go back for a year, and I have to say I loved it. Buffalo humus was my favorite.

Good food, cool atmosphere, and friendly staff. Menu was not as similar to paramount as I was lead to believe from a friend. But still a solid sandwich shoppe, haven't gotten to try the pizza yet.

I have to recommend The Electric's take on the Reuben and chili (add the sausage for the whole, wow, experience). Nice beer selection too.

Has the potential to be a good spot, but it's not there yet. I liked the venue, idea of the menu, and idea of the bar. However, it needs a lot of work. The reuben I ordered was average; it had slaw on there instead of sauerkraut, which I needed. I was expecting fries, but there were only chips instead. So I ordered soup on the side. The French onion soup was pretty disappointing. More like broth only instead of anything creamy. Also, I didn't see any beer on draft. They had a wide variety of canned beer, but $6 with no draft option isn't good. The menu was also pretty limited (no burgers!), so I'm hoping they will have more options there too.

Very good food. Close to home. Sandwiches are really good. Their side dish of slaw is something you should try. We had great service.

It’s more of a bar with a small restaurant area attached. Staff were relatively friendly but seemed a bit aloof or uninterested. It took a long time to get our food despite not being busy. The loaded grilled cheese had a sadly unripened slice of tomato, and the cheese was not completely melted. The chili should be advertised as vegetarian. Chili would have been good if it had not been overly sweet, the recipe needs to be adjusted. Overall, nice concept but the delivery needs improvement.

We went for lunch on a Wednesday. It appeared they had more people enjoying beverages than food. There wasn't anything that particularly sounded appetizing except the beer cheese & chips. My husband had the Camilla sandwich, which we shared with my chips & dip. The sandwich, chips, dip & slaw were good but not substantial enough to satisfy my husband's appetite. When we paid, my husband had asked if they accept military discount. The manager overheard his question and replied in the affirmative. We got a $3.15 (15%) first responder/military discount which we appreciated. The waitress said it would be $19 something. Then, the manager continued pressing buttons before I ran my card. She ran my card & I signed electronically. She handed me my receipt stating the total was $24.09. Unbeknownst to me, the manager had added a tip of $4.54 to my order without my knowledge. I don't mind tipping for service, but I do like to be informed a tip will be applied and given the opportunity to select my own tip amount. We weren't even full when we left. Fortunately, Piggly Wiggly is right across the parking lot.

A little expensive for sandwiches but worth it for the no disappointment guarantee. Best Reuben I’ve ever had.

Fun local place to grab soup and sandwich. I enjoyed the pimento, bacon sandwich and the tomato soup was creamy and very flavorful.

One of Birminghams best kept secrets. A local sandwich shop that has such a great variety of options that it's hard to choose each time you go. They also have a full bar and a great beer selection. Combine that with a patio that is super kid friendly and a very attentive, friendly staff and you've got the perfect place for an afternoon cocktail with friends or for a Saturday night dinner with the entire family. We love this place and we're so thankful they came to the neighborhood.

Shockingly, they could make a Hemingway daiquiri - id never expected this from a small place. I had french onion soup & 1/2 sandwich - very nice. Quiet peaceful
