Took my wife and parents out for ice cream tonight. Whole Scoop was busy with the line to the door. The ice cream here is excellent with a large selection of flavors. We alsoLike the cone options as they have probably over a dozen different cones. My wife was happy they have a gluten free one. The young man that waited on us was very friendly and helpful.

Everything about this place is great! It simply is THE best place around to get ice cream with your children.
We stopped in on a whim, and we're so glad we did. The gentleman that helped us was so nice and talkative. He insisted we try multiple flavors before deciding, and we were glad because everything is soooo good here, it was hard to decide. We'll definitely be back more often.

The milkshake was delicious! I got it with m&ms mixed in. They did double cup it. But I don’t understand why the use styrofoam cups? It melted right through the bottom into the second cup. Either that or the peers on making it chopped up the bottom of the cup when blending it. And then I couldn’t eat up what was left in the second cup because there were pieces of styrofoam all in it. Surely there’s something better to put it in. Still super tasty!

Reading these reviews makes me feel embarrassed that the friendly, hard-working owners here get 1 star reviews (if only a few). This place has such welcoming staff, reasonable prices, and delicious ice cream! Not perfect. A little crowded (wonder why, right?) Decor is dated but I like the plaques on the wall. Everyone should try business ownership. Many good days; and some days to finish up quickly and learn what we can from our mistakes. Give Whole Scoop a try. Today was our first time to visit. My favorite little ice cream spot! My nephew got the ice cream cookie, and I got the brownie sundae. This is a neat little spot for the littles and the young at heart. They have ice cream (cones/cups), protein shakes, sundaes, cakes, and more! It's definitely a place to go when in Hoover.

They have gluten free cones which we appreciate so much, and always so helpful and friendly. He even said he could make an ice cream cake gluten free if we wanted. And the ice cream is awesome.

I took my soccer team there after our game today. The staff was so accommodating and nice and even gave free ice cream to the coaches. Also, the ice cream was extremely good! Highly recommend!
