I have been using this pharmacy for over 10 years and never had any problems. Service was always fast and friendly staff. The last few months, service has gone downhill. Can’t get prescriptions same day prescribed, long wait times inside and in drive thru, and staff tells you to “come back later” but won’t provide a time prescriptions will be ready. You go back hours later and told the same thing. Overly frustrating! Whatever you do, avoid this pharmacy if you have a choice. There are many others in the area to choose from.

Made a 12:15 appointment to get two vaccines. Arrived on time and checked in. I finally got called to get the injections at 1:08!I was told they only had one pharmacist. That’s unacceptable ! Why schedule appointments if you have to wait 53 minutes to get the injections.Yes they were busy but people that came in after me were serviced before me.I asked if there was a manager in the store and was told he was working in the pharmacy to help them.Staffing is a major issue!

This was by far the worst experience ever. I arrived 10 minutes before time for my 12:30 vaccine. It is now 1:30 they are still inputting my information for the 5th time. I filled out all my paperwork online last night and they lost it. He told me that I need to reschedule because it’s taking him too long to figure things out. I am Never and I mean NEVERRRRRRRRRRR coming back here or referring this walgreen to anyone. I will go out of my way to make sure no one visits this cesspool of a pharmacy.

Scheduled a vaccination appointment and have been waiting for over 30 minutes. Filled out forms online and had to refill everything. This is why I no longer shop Walgreens. Post COVID all locations have crappy and slow service. Steer clear.

This used to be the perfect pharmacy for us! We live close by and pass it everyday! I don’t know what has happened in last 30-60 days but service has gone down hill!! You wait forever to pick up meds, then order isn’t correct. You point out you were notified by text and app that it’s ready and they tell you that it’s incorrect and you should call. Then you call and you can’t talk to anyone and have to wait on hold for 10 minutes. Then when you get to Brian Harris the store manager he makes excuses and complains about number of calls keeping staff busy and they can’t do other stuff. All they will say is “sorry it can be ready in a few hours”. Then when you let Brian Harris know the level of service is unacceptable he tells you to call 1800 Walgreens and you get to wait on hold for another thirty minutes to talk to some person in another state. Bottom line…. Brian Harris refuses to acknowledge issues and isn’t interested in returning to the level of service from a year or two years ago! Which by the way was definitely when Covid was a problem! This store needs better leadership!

This is one of the most inefficient Walgreens pharmacies with regards to filling prescriptions in Hoover. Thirty minutes waits are common at the drive through and absolutely is not an exaggeration. They have been terribly understaffed at this pharmacy for several years now. They just lack the ability to manage all the prescriptions they receive at this location. They need double the staff to handle the volume.

The pharmacy periodically fills the prescription incorrectly. I'm surprised there hasn't been harm or even death from this pharmacy. They don't even read what the doctor sends.

If you can avoid this pharmacy do. Pulled up at 5:55 and they close at 6. Lady said they were closed. Unprofessional and extremely rude.

Something has gone wrong with the management of this pharmacy operations over the past five or so months. The operation lacks efficiency and has on more that one occasion (with me) no inventory of certain medicines. It use to be that two days (at the most) pass before my refills are ready for pick up. As of late it takes four more days to pick up a refill. Also, whether using the drive-though or walking into the pharmacy there is a long wait. I say all of this because these new situations are just that - new. Just this week when ordering refills online the Walgreens system returned a message "Pharmacy Permanently Close - Select another." I called the store and someone answered. I tried to re-order. After three attempts my refill order seemed to take effect. Three days later I walked into the pharmacy to pick up my prescriptions - all but one was ready. The system said it was "In Process." The pharmacy clerk said they are waiting for delivery, possible next week on Monday. SOMETHING HAS GONE WRONG WITH THIS PHARMACY. it used to be the best. No longer.

Have never been to a slower pharmacy in my life. Doesn't matter the time of day, 30mins minimum to PICK UP A PRESCRIPTION. It's absolutely infuriating!

There were two ladies in this morning. Both were incredibly rude. Today is 3.31.23.. this was at 9:15am.They were incredibly rude to my daughter. This is the 2nd time this has occurred. Management should watch their tapes and listen to how their people speak to customers.
