This is the location of the first Cookout I had ever eaten at. I was appalled by the decent prices and good food and would frequently stop to eat on my way back from school. However, as of recently their food has been terrible and it's obvious it has gone downhill.
Cook Out is a great fast food restaurant, and is generally popular for college-age people, mostly from UAH and Alabama A&M. They have a large selection of milkshakes which can substitute a drink, and the amount of combinations for their trays is enormous. 5 out of 5 would recommend.

Great little place to grab some good food for a very affordable price. Food was as advertised, just like you would have in a cook out. Plus, the fact that they have Cheerwine on tap really put it over the top for me. When I'm in town again, I will definitely revisit.
