I went in for 3 mofongos and me and my family loved it. They were fresh out the kitchen and very flavorful. 10/10

I cant believe I have lived in Huntsville for years and just finally found thia restaurant. Tastes just like my mother's cooking! Arroz com gandules, pernil, empandas, tostones, maduros, todos!. So delicious! I can't wait to go back when they have mofongo! The atmosphere is so comfortable inside and the service was excellent. Buen provecho!

I was excited to finally get a Puerto Rican place in town. Unfortunately when I arrived the two people in there did not care at all that I had arrived with a friend, I walked up to the bar trying to get greeted and told if they where open (they looked closed but the open sign was on).One guy was on the phone looked at me and then proceeded to ignore me, the bar tender was blaring music so couldn't hear what was going on.I waited about a minute and felt quite uncomfortable so I left.Just save yourself the cringe, for now we must wait for a more friendly place.Para los hablan español, cuando fui me recibieron un par de malcriados. No pierdas tu tiempo aquí.

Had an ok Cuban sandwich. The bread and ingredients were right but it was swimming in mustard which overpowered ant flavor of the pork or ham.
It felt really good to get a taste of home (La Isla) here in Alabama. The restaurant is quaint. The owner and servers are super nice and welcoming. Everything is reasonably priced. The portions are plenty. I’ll definitely be back.

My husband and I were yearning for Latin food when we found this little place. The atmosphere is cute. The food was yummy, but a little salty for my taste. But the vanilla flan was delicious! The staff was very friendly! We would return for another meal.

My husband and I ordered the Alcapurria Fritter, an Empanada, and some tacos and all of it was absolutely delicious. Our server was great, and the food came out promptly. I also had the passion fruit margarita and let me tell you.... the BEST I've had since moving to Huntsville. I love Puerto Rican food, and I am so glad that we found this place. I definitely plan on returning.

Great food and friendly staff. I wish the menu had more options, but I recommend to everyone who loves Puerto Rican food!

Sorry, I guess if you can't cook "a lo Puertoriqueño" then this place is a good place to eat. If you can cook, then please cook at home, it will be better.
