I've learned to check my order ticket because their math doesn't always math right.The main draw for me with Waffle House is whether you're in Tennessee or Arizona or Florida, a Waffle House is a Waffle House. They are usually fast and the restrooms are clean.Parking: Unless it's 230am on a Friday or Saturday, 6am during the work week or 11am-2pm/7-9pm on a Sunday, they usually have plenty of parking.Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu and some locations have crayons for kids.Wheelchair accessibility: Their doors are wide enough for most wheelchairs. There are not any electric door openers, and if it's an older store, they have an outside door that lets you into an entryway area with another heavy door to actually get into the restaurant.The stores have a low counter that is the right height for wheelchairs and their booths are the right height for a wheelchair to be able to fit close enough to enjoy a meal.

Absolutely enjoyed my time here. My waitress was this young black girl who acknowledged me as soon as I walked in, cleared a table off for me, and was polite and efficient as she took my order, brought my chocolate milk and sausage, bacon, and egg grit bowl, and finally brought me my check. This Waffle House should try to keep her as long as they can. That's the kind of southern hospitality that you might not see everyday!
Waffle House used to be a tradition but today the doors are locked and it's only online orders. This is the harbinger of the end of waffle house smh
