12/13/24: I had to drive down to Tuscaloosa from the trailer in Northport, so my food was warm when I got in. Then, I took my time getting settled. By the time I sat down to eat, my food wad tepid. I, REALLY, like my food to be hot when I eat. But the flavor held up. I was surprised that I liked it. I'd guess that the distance is the only reason I haven't eaten from here more often. The clerk who took my phone order was patient and provided GREAT customer service.
I ordered 2 plates with 2 sides. 40 dollars and when they handed the bag it was very light weight. One , ( Again) left out 1 side. Happened 3 times in a row. You only get 1 T of of sides.if i was able id show pics of how small it was . The fish was great but so little of it to. I could have went to captain ds and got 3 plates for the same price but alot more. We did not even get full . Still hungry. The people are great food is great ( when they don't forget ) but it's to high for what little you get. I will not go back anymore Can afford it.

My favorite is the shrimp poboy, i add pickles to mine. The mozzarella sticks and wings are so yummy too! I love the atmosphere, its amazing. The workers are always such a joy! I love this lil place!
The fish was hard !! They didn't put my slaw in the order and this is not the first time that this has happened !! For $40.43 I really expect better 😔 This was there last chance for me !

Best catfish I've ever eaten!! I can't stand thick filets. These were perfect from the size,seasoning and cooked to perfection. I've had catfish many times but these were the best! Generous proportions and the hush puppies were awesome too! A++

Great catfish! My only problem was that the outside music speaker is so loud you can't hear the one you're ordering from.?

This place is well worth the time it takes to get there and very well worth the money spent. You can taste the home-made cooking from the very first bite. Awesome people waiting to take your order with a smile on their faces. As hot as it is outside just imagine how much more hot they are and still doing their best to give you an awesome bite to eat and all while giving you a smile. This place rocks. Catfish Charlie has the best Catfish. Cooked just right. I have a cousin who will drive from Virginia just to get their Catfish and hushpuppies. And will eat your Catfish 3 or 4 times while they are here.
