If you are a black person you are not welcome in this place. I was the second table when I get seated, in few minutes few seated and Togo order pick up. The lady brought my sprit order but totally ignored me and started yo serve the tables who came in after me. Seated and waited but she totally ignored me to take my order. I was not a person to be offended for racial classification, but this was obvious. The gusts before me was wondering what was going on. After i realized the situation, I offered to pay for the sprite didn't touch it, she said that is okay , as if she is glad I left , no question asked, no apology the experience I never had. It was the Worst place to be.

MK’s Asian Kitchen is hands-down one of our favorite spots in the area! The service is always friendly and impressively fast, whether we’re ordering in person or calling ahead for takeout. The menu has all the classic favorites you’d expect—lo mein, sesame chicken, fried rice, egg rolls—but what really sets MK’s apart are their rotating specials and more traditional dishes that you don’t often see elsewhere. Everything we’ve tried has been fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned.
They do offer dine-in options, but the space is pretty simple—nothing fancy—so we typically opt for takeout, which has always been convenient and well-packaged. MK’s is a great local gem in Opelika, and we’re so glad to have it nearby when we want a quick, satisfying meal that never disappoints.

My husband and I stopped here while driving through and was the best find ever we ordered the hot and sour soup and egg drop with wonton soup the lamb Mongolian lunch with spring rolls everything was so fresh and delicious we didn’t get pictures but trust me you will enjoy. And I don’t do reviews, so that should tell you something. Please get Hope as your waitress she was a delight.

We discovered MK's when we moved here in 2011. It has been our go to place for Chinese food ever since. We eat here at least twice a month, even though we have to drive all the way across town to get there. The prices are reasonable, the portions are pretty good size and the service is always fast and friendly. This place feels kind of like Cheers, because Shai, the owner, knows your name. Not just mine, but 90% of the people who walk in, she greets by name and knows their family. I personally recommend the Sizzling Pepper Beef or Chicken.

We really enjoyed MK's Asian Kitchen. Kind of a smaller dining area but plenty of room for the 10+ in our party and additional guests. The General Tso's chicken with fried rice was very good. We were there for lunch and the price and portion was perfect. The young man waiting on us was so polite and precious. He worked hard taking care of all the tables in the dining room. We will definitely be back.
