I just ate at the location in Gadsden. The prices on the the menu are incorrect. They add to the total amount for credit/debit purchases. You don't know that until you get the bill. This place is SCAM.

Very good food, large portions and at reasonable prices in today's economy. Come Wednesday night for karaoke.

So, first off apparently if you're not middle aged this place does not take you seriously. Me and my group of friends came here one night and everyone was being well taken care of but us. I'm not sure if they thought because of us being young adults we weren't going to tip well. But they had some kind of grudge. When we finally got our food out EVERY SINGLE DISH had a piece of hair in it. Which when you see the cooks with their hair dripping sweat in their faces it's never a good sign. I tried to tell them about my dish and they said "Oh"; not "I'm sorry" not "Let me fix it again" not "We'll take that off your check" just "OH" . My friends didn't even bother trying to tell them. The waiter had already made up his mind he wasn't going to respect us. Just go to Las Brisas , it's cleaner , friendlier, and better quality food.

From the first time coming here, roughly 3 years ago, I still have YET to have a bad experience. Great food, courteous and efficient servers, spacious and comfortable seating, HUGE variety of food options on the menu which is a plus because we have 3 children (who also love the food). A must for Gadsden, Rainbow City and surrounding cities to come to!

This was my first time visiting Baja California, and overall the experience went pretty well! There’s a wide variety of food to choose from. I ended up ordering the Burrito Loco (steak, chorizo, grilled onions and french fries all wrapped up and smothered in cheesy queso goodness). The lady ordered the carne asada. The food came out so quickly we were almost in disbelief, but it was delicious! Although, the beans could’ve used a bit more love and flavor. I had a tango margarita to go along with my meal, and the lady had a pomegranate one. If you’re hungry and in the area, Baja California is definitely worth a visit!

Attended reunion dinner a couple weeks ago. Our group was in a large gathering room along with another group (a birthday maybe?). The room was stifling!!! No air conditioning, no air circulation, a few small ceiling fans on low. The restaurant was busy and seemed to be under staffed. The servers could not keep up with the walk-in diners and the groups in the party room. It took almost two hours for everyone in our group to be served. They were bringing out one or two orders at a time. We couldn’t get silverware, napkins, straws, water, (watered down) soda, drinks and several complaints about wrong orders. The quesadilla that I had was the worst I’ve ever tasted! It looked ok, but it wasn’t seasoned and had a watery processed white cheese sauce (not real cheese). There was no acknowledgment or apology the uncomfortable room temperature, or poor service. Please do better or don’t accept large parties. This was my first and last time patronizing this restaurant.
