Everyone said the food was good. We ordered 2 catfish baskets with corn and mac n cheese, a red snapper basket with mac n cheese and coleslaw. The food was NOT good. The fish was overcooked and tasted like old grease, the mac n cheese tasted like soggy noodles and watered down cheese no salt, pepper, or any seasoning, the hush pupies were small and just a ball of cornbread..no flavor and hard. I was so disappointed especially for 80 bucks and when we called to express or disappointment the guy on the phone got upset and proceeded to over talk me and also hung up on me.

We started off with the Crab Dip and I was a bit concerned at first because I don't like things to taste super "crabby" but it was so fresh and honestly better than anything I've had at any beach restaurant. As my meal I got the basic fish and chips and it was awesome! The service took a bit longer than usual, but they apologized so many times for it. I can't wait to try out the rest of the menu!

Our first visit . Our neighbors took us out for a Christmas gift. It was a wonderful time . The staff was friendly and service very good. The restaurant was busy but wait time was very good. My wife and I both had the fried shrimp baskets. They had fry’s ,cole slaw , very good hush puppies,and about 10 fresh plump shrimp. All were excellent. We will return and try some more of their offerings. They are also a fresh seafood market with just about everything. We are glad our neighbors brought us here. Come see for yourself.

This fish market is very clean and well kept. I stopped in for some shrimp, scallops and some fish. I ended up choosing the Ocean Perch and I have to be honest…..wish I hadn’t. It smelled bad out of the bag I bought it in. My husband convinced me to cook it to see if it was just us. After cooking it smelled like pure ammonia. I tried to feed it to my cats but even they wouldn’t touch it. The shrimp and scallops were very fresh. The staff was super helpful. I just won’t be returning for fish. ?♀️

The fish is so fresh you can almost smell the salt air. Preparations are very well cooked and presented. Two menus offer a variety of choices: a standard everyday list of options plus a list of daily specials (while supplies last). Of all our local dining, this is first choice for seafood (even better than most places we have tried along the Gulf coast). If available, go for the Chilean Sea Bass. Also delighted in Blackened Redfish smothered in lime crema sauce. Seating can be limited when parking lot is full. Don't expect fancy, but it is clean and cozy. Service is usually good and able to answer questions. Overall, Capeside is our favorite place for a special meal. Have visited mostly on weekend mid-afternoons. Not open Mondays.

This place is Devine! Has the seafood gumbo, scallops and warm crab dip. Found a new happy place. Looking forward to going back soon and bringing home some more seafood to cook at home.
