We stopped in for lunch and were absolutely amazed at the welcoming atmosphere!! Everyone was extremely nice!! The food was great! My husband said the BBQ was one of the best he has ever had (and he eats a lot of BBQ...lol). I had the chicken nachos and they were great!! Make sure you save room for a piece of peanut butter pie!! It was delicious!! We can't wait to go back!!

We love Local Joes....don't get me wrong, but here we go. We eat at Cave Springs, Albertville, and this was our first time to Rainbow City. We did NOT eat here. The smell of rancid grease off of the smoker was enough! Anyone who knows anything about smokers understand. Thats just a no-no and plain lazy. You could smell it from the parking lot to the restroom. I don't know what has happened, but our last trip to Albertville was not pleasing either. I guess we only eat at the Cave Springs location now.

Great smoked turkey! I like pretty much everything I've ever gotten here. The baked beans are also the best ones I've had besides my mama's. Very flavorful and goes well with the red sauce. My favorite BBQ sauce around. Great loaded baked potatoes, potato salad and the pimento cheese is the best! BBQ chicken flatbread pizza is also very good! Pies, cakes and cookies are good way to top off the meal but I usually have to wait a little while to enjoy due to being overstuffed! Also, great catering. Had it for my daughter's wedding and everything was wonderful! Not just BBQ but anything and everything you could want!

After meeting friends for lunch in Gadsden, we decided to venture out to Local Joes before returning to Anniston. When we pulled in, the smoky aroma was so enticing we were tempted to eat again. We looked around and left with a half-pound of smoked turkey with both red and white sauce, a peach and apple fried pie and a jar of cherry preserves. The turkey is absolutely amazing! We couldn’t decide which sauce we like best so we mixed them. The peach pie was very good. We plan to have the apple one tomorrow and expect it to be equally as good. We will definitely return. If the weather is good, we may take our dog and eat at one of the outside picnic tables.

We have eaten here alot & loved it! BUT today it looked like the whole staff was new & the food & friendliness wasn't good...the sausage was mushy & tough. The chicken salad was tasteless (tough dry chicken, mayo & celery, no seasoning) & that sourdough bread was so dry & stale. The only thing we enjoyed was the potato salad, only reason for 2 stars. We will not be going back anytime soon! They use to take your order at the counter then bring it to your table, but today as I paid a bag was placed on the counter in front of me. I asked if it was my order for dine in & she just said yes & walked away..I tipped, as usual, but this was just bad fast food today. What a shame, i hope they can restore the friendly staff & good food. Maybe in a month or 2 well try again.
Local Joe's catered a celebration event for us at the Gadsden Airport. It was awesome. The food and food service was outstanding. The staff was nice and very helpful. I highly recommend them for catering your next event.

Love me some Local Joe's! Been eating and doing take out for years, great meats smoked on site and great sides from their kitchen. Smoked turkey is so good you'll drool. Great desserts, fried pies, cobbler... and boiled peanuts, local honey and soap. Get ya some as soon as you can, it's like a great tail gate on a Alabama Saturday in October every time I walk in. Keep it going y'all!

Everything here is amazing, never been disappointed from anything I've gotten here. Highly recommend the barbecue with their white sauce, their turkey is amazing, best potato salad I've ever had. And their Alabama white sauce is good on pretty much anything. They also have amazing salads especially if you get their chopped turkey on it.

Absolutely delicious food. Only reason i gave them 4 stars was from our recent visit. Ordered the family pack to go. Drove hoke with it to find they did not include buns!! Yes, I should have checked but I suppose I trusted them to get our order correct. Did not drive the 19 miles to get our missing buns. Please double check your take out orders!!!
