I’m sure it’s great for a lot of people. I just do not like the flavor of any of their barbecue sauces. Bad taste. Ribs are good other than the flavor.

Hook's BBQ is a bit hard to find, but once you find it, you will be glad that you did. There was adequate parking and walking in, I approached the counter and placed my order to the friendly woman behind the cash register. After ordering. I found a seat and waited for my name to be called. The inside has the ambiance that you would expect from a barbecue place. Soon enough my name was called and I received my meal. I had ordered the large pulled pork and for my two sides. I went with French fries and baked beans. It also came with two pieces of bread and pound cake. I opted for the hot barbecue sauce. All in all, I was impressed with my meal. It was good and it was pretty competitively priced. Hook's BBQ is a great place to have a meal if you are in the Hoover, Alabama area. I would definitely recommend here and give it five stars.

Split the Whiz Bang Sampler Plate. All food was excellent. Generous meats. Skimpy sides. Pound cake was great; ordered a whole one to go. Flies inside restaurant in one area.Parking: Avoid parking in front of the restaurant as you may get blocked in by the drive thru traffic.
