Every time I addressed my concerns as a vegan they did their diligence to make sure they got it right even to the point where they cooked the food separately while my family and I enjoyed the show!Vegetarian options: Ask the cook and waitress for options.

Way too expensive for the quality of food. Atmosphere was cool, but the was overpriced. Probably won't go back. I can go get All You Can Eat Sushi and Hitachi in Dothan for the same price with better food.

I hadn't eaten here in 15 years, and it was much better than 1st time. The chef that cooked for us made the experience wonderful for the kids. The entrée, soup, and salad were very tasty. Service and atmosphere were great and the restaurant was clean.Kid-friendliness: The chef puts on a great show for children. Good for small 12-14 people parties.

Would rather eat publix sushi than this overpriced crap. Tuna is such horrible quality and they're charging as if its good. I made a phone order and got a whole different order. They mixed my miso soup with their beef soup when i asked for just miso soup. No chopsticks in my bag or soy sauce either. When i called saying they gave me the wrong order the worker said i can come back tomorrow and pay for a whole other order. Never coming back again.

Omg … I came here tonight for the time and everyone was so nice and very attentive they made sure i had everything without having to ask it’s a very welcoming environment..I got the teppan Yaki shrimp which came with soup and salad I also got the nigiri sushi with crab meat and the California roll pure deliciousness .. life was served …i enjoyed everything and I will be returning very very soon best money I ever spent

The LaBamba Roll and Sunomono salad were delicious.
This place is amazing. The sushi is top notch and very reasonably priced. I hear a lot of people claim it’s expensive but I’m thinking they haven’t been out to get sushi in other areas of the country. $13 for a signature roll is MORE than reasonable. Service has always been good for me. 10/10 would go again and if you want sushi you should too!

I have eaten at Mikata Japanese steakhouse in Troy, Alabama for years. I order the same thing almost always, but tonight I was overcharged $6 for the smallest side of cabbage ever. I even tried to explain it to the lady that was doing the cash register and she would not give. I explained to her that I have been there countless times and they have never charged me for a cabbage because it comes with the meal, but tonight was a different story. Mr Wonderful is one of the best Japanese Hibachi Cooks in the area , but the restaurant does questionable practices like this sometimes which really makes me upset. I didn't have the time to sit there and argue with her, But be sure you are not overcharged on your visit and be sure to look at your bill always before you give them your credit card which was my mistake tonight. The only other complaint I have is sometimes when I ask for medium steak it is rare to medium-rare and usually have a belly ache afterwards when this occurs. They have also cut back on the portion size of the fried rice and the amount of eggs used at each table. For the amount of money they charge they can afford to give more rice and add at least one more egg to the rice and still make a killer profit.

First time going with the family. There were 6 of us, and all of us were extremely happy with the service, atmosphere, and food.Both my daughters, who are extremely picky eaters, were very happy and loved the food they got. My youngest daughter loved her first time at a Hibachi grill experience.My brother and nephew also truly enjoyed their first-time experience and the food.My wife and I loved the food, especially the sushi.All in all, our visit was fantastic. Had great food, great service, and fantastic atmosphere. We will most definitely return.Kid-friendliness: Picky eaters can get their food fixed to their pickiness.Dietary restrictions: Excellent in making sure that a lby9ne allergic to seafood has food kept separate.
