Hey so since my girlfriend has left organization so I figured I’d tell yall what she told me. They have mold in their cheese, the manager eats out of food safe containers with all the prepped meat without gloves and without washing his hands, there is mold on the sauce in the freezer walk in. They got rust in the microwave, the general manager who makes more than anyone in store, gets 25% of all tips, and they got roaches!!!!

Such a wonderful atmosphere. First time, kids enjoyed their lunch, pastrami mamma was awesome. I'm a pickle lover so. Not disappointed, next time the nachos. So good forgot the pictures.Dietary restrictions: Plenty of salads and I'm sure if you ask they will make a bun less sandwich.Kid-friendliness: Little walk loop across the street. Outside seating, plenty of tvs, we didn't ask but I'm sure they would've put on cartoons.

When I walked in I was greeted by the staff who were extremely nice throughout my entire experience. I had a chicken breast and nachos no peppers, the chicken and honey dijon were amazing. I really like the crisp bagel, warm melty mozzarella & fresh crisp lettuce. Once I finished my food they had an arcade machine in the store that I played for a while before leaving. Overall, a very pleasant experience.Kid-friendliness: Arcade games, quarter machines, music, and cartoons on one of the 4 TVs!

I live in Troy, Alabama. The best sandwich and the one I crave is a Reuben!I have tried for 3 days to order one and they keep telling me that they don’t have corned beef!!!This is a College town! You are a famous Deli!How can you not have meat for a Reuben

Giving this 3 stars because of the food which is great. Possibly the worst managed restaurant I've been to in my life. Parents weekend at Troy and they have 3 total staff. Each person works an order to completion rather than any assembly line... meaning each member of our party ate separate. 45 minutes waiting in line followed by 45 minutes from the time we ordered until the last sandwich was received. Management shift could triple this places business, it's sad because the food is good.

Came for the mama’s love sandwich, but stayed for the grilled chicken salad with a Mediterranean vinaigrette. It was as pleasing to the eye as it was to the palate. The people working behind the counter or not mere sandwich assemblers but true culinary artists. A finer custom salad cannot be found on the downtown square.I do wish a large drink was not $3.29 dollars for flavored carbonated water.

When I walked into this deli on the square in Troy, I was immediately struck by the rich, dark furnishings. It reminds me of an old bar & grill. I ordered a wrap and soup with an iced tea. The wrap had a decent amount of meat and other toppings, but the overall flavor of the wrap reminded me of a bottle of old (vinegary) ranch dressing. The soup tasted very similar to canned vegetable, tomato soup. It wasn't bad, just pricey for the quality. Overall, I had a really filling lunch, but was pretty disappointed in the taste of my meal. They could probably cut back on the quantity of meat in the wrap and include additional flavors (more seasoning? bacon? Dijon?) and skip on the bottled dressing. I may return to try something different on the menu. My husband had the French Dip sandwich and really seemed to enjoy his meal.

Momma Goldberg's Deli in Downtown Troy, Alabama offers a delightful dining experience with its friendly staff and awesome atmosphere. However, it should be noted that parking can be an issue, especially during busy lunch hours. Despite that, the food at Momma Goldberg's Deli is pretty decent.
Good food . The workers were friendly. The food was ready quickly. The entire place was clean. Just what you expect from Momma Goldberg.

The spot was clean, and its located in lovely downtown Troy, but thats the extent. Got a French dinner, and for 7.99, I got a slider. The 'sandwich' was barely an appitizer. There was. Maybe one slice of meat on the bread. Not very flavorful. Most college town have great sandwich shops or quick food joints. I can't say this is one of them.

Usually love coming here.. decided to come inside to eat with my family tonight. Terrible service, staff on their phones the entire time during ordering and carrying on talking so it took 30 minutes to receive our food. Each thing coming out one at a time so we didn't get to eat together and the kids meal was the last to come out. Will try again, but if this is the norm we will not be back.
