The service at this Mexican restaurant was excellent and the food is outstanding. My wife had street tacos and absolutely loved them. I opted for the Alambre Fajitas, which were incredibly delicious. The portion size was generous, so I had to order a box to take home. Their queso and salsa were also fantastic. To top it off, we had fried ice cream for dessert, which was the best I’ve ever had in Tuscaloosa. I highly recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for great Mexican food. I know my family will be eating there again.

The restaurant is beautiful and the food is delicious!! We had a larger group and everyone loved their meal! I will say that service was slow. Several mistakes were made and things were forgotten about, but we do not fault them for this since it was only the 3rd day since they opened. The staff was kind and apologetic.
Glad to have this place in Tuscaloosa!!

Best mexican restaurant in tuscaloosa!
Stumbled upon this place trying to decide on a place to eat lunch with my daughters and I am so glad we did! Opened yesterday and it’s delicious! The interior is gorgeous and the staff are friendly and attentive. Getting onto the food, it came out hot and delicious! The lunch prices are amazing for the quality of the dishes. Definitely a must try if you are looking for a great Mexican restaurant in Tuscaloosa!

The restaurant is gorgeous and the server was amazing! He came down from their MS location to help with the opening. We were one of the first customers to try this new spot and it was really delicious. The chips are the nice thin and crispy ones like Chuy’s had. I ordered the manager’s special the bruschetta skewers it was full of flavor because it was seasoned well but the prime rib is extremely fatty you will get more fat than beef. The fajitas were excellent too. The only downer is the Mexican rice & beans. It is void of seasoning. The restaurant is beautiful and will surely be the restaurant of choice in Midtown. They plan to have the best margaritas in town but the liquor license wasn’t in place for opening day so we plan to come again. The portion size is generous too. If comparing to the other Mexican restaurants, Jalapeños and most other Mexican places won’t be able to compete with this place. El Gran, Central Mesa, Taco Mama and Antojitos are the only Mexican joints that can compete because the rice and beans taste way better at each of these other places. I think they are putting all of their eggs in the margarita basket because they miss the mark on the #1 Mexican staple rice and beans. The experience, main dish and atmosphere get the 5 but the rice and beans get a 1.

The food and service was fantastic! Great new restaurant to have in town. I would highly recommend it. The portions are generous and the prices are very good for the amount of food served. I had the horchata to drink and the enchiladas rancheras for my meal. I was impressed with both.
