I have been eating at this restaurant for about the last 4 years and shame on me for not leaving an updated review. The food is always spot on amazing and I highly recommend going for brunch if you get the chance. On this last visit I went for dinner and had the ribeye and you know I had to double up on the mac and cheese because it's some of the best in the South. I'm a northerner so it's about a 7-hour trip for me to get in front of one of these plates but it's well worth the drive. All of the service staff and bartenders at this location are super courteous and polite and provide some of the best service anywhere in Tuscaloosa.

First time here for my Dad and I ? Food, drinks and atmosphere were perfect! Luckily for us, we got a table outside. They open at 5pm. We arrived at 515pm and had a 30 minute wait. By 615pm we heard other people saying it was a 2 hour wait so I suggest getting there early.Dad ordered a margarita and I had the Pinot noir. Drinks were tasty. We then ordered the smoked yellowfin tuna dip for the appetizer. The chips were crispy and tasty and the tuna dip was tasty. For dinner, my Dad had the ribeye and I had the paneed chicken. Our food was cooked perfectly and super tasty. Some might say it's on the expensive side. There was no room for dessert, unfortunately! We're in Tuscaloosa for an event but will definitely be back if we are in the area again!Parking: Parking spots around the area fill up fast. There is a free parking garage that's not too far away.

Went for brunch and the food and service were great. The staff was attentive and the food came out quickly. Live jazz musician there for brunch. Very nice experience.

I came to this place just because the inside looked nice and cozy but the burger was amazing plus the salad too. Good place for a drink and bite. Also they have a private area for parties etc.

It wasn’t busy on a Wednesday night and they had “Wine Wednesday” for half priced bottles. I ordered the pork chop dish. It came with baked mac and cheese and a salad. I don’t normally like salad but this salad had delicious strawberries, apples, and blue cheese crumbles in it. The mac and cheese was a creamy texture with a little spice in it and this was my favorite part of the meal. SO GOOD! Unfortunately the pork chop was dry, hard to cut, and hard to chew. The flavor was good though. Everyone else at my table got the cheese burger and fries and they enjoyed it. Our waitress was nice and attentive.

The food was great. Only five entrees and five apps. We had mozzerella sticks and i had the pork chop. Fabulous and my partner had a steak he said one of the best he has had.. the bartender Hannah really made the evening and the atmosphere is divine.. just fun chandeliers and brick walls. Worth checking out!

We ate at 5’s while visiting our daughters on parent’s weekend. It’s simple and good. Try the pineapple jalapeño margarita. Bloody Mary’s are yummy. Same owner of Harbor Dock’s in Destin and Chuck’s in Tuscaloosa, Birmingham, and Montgomery.

Recently visited Five twice and enjoyed a great dining experience both times. I highly recommend the fried shrimp and ask for vegetable of the day also outstanding! Don't forget the baked avocado as appetizer! Blue cheese stuffed olives are available to compliment your favorite vodka martini.

What a cool local place. Not a large menu, just FIVE appetizers and FIVE entrees, but all TEN are done exceptionally well. I had the pork chop with a side of Mac/Cheese. Pork Chop was excellent and Mac/ cheese was taken up a notch, definitely worth getting.

The Jazzy Brunch...was an overall great experience with smooth jazz creating a good atmosphere along with good food and service. Moreover, the wait time was very reasonable for brunch on a Sunday. The selective menu did not take away from how the food was presented and prepared. I ordered the the steak and hash; it was cooked to the correct temperature and had the perfect amount of seasoning that compliments the potatoes. On top of that the bread pudding was rich and was not overly sweet. Definitely will come back!

The people here are so nice but the food, not so much. We arrived at 11:00 am and ordered shortly thereafter. Food arrived at 11:40 and was all stone cold. I had a steak sandwich that was supposed to have beer cheese. It was mostly bread with fatty, FATTY steak and barely any cheese. Is was SO dry. My husband had fried chicken which was also cold with no chicken breast as expected, just a leg and thigh. The mac and cheese and whiskey sours were great. The pics are AFTER we finished our meal that we couldn't eat much of. We left Five Bar and went to another restaurant for a pizza. We will never go back.

After church brunch if shrimp and grits. I started with their Beignets and they were delicious! They set in a caramel apple glaze. I’m still thinking about the main course, it was on point! The live jazz was a pleasant surprise, wonderful atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back!

For a place that serves only 5 main dishes, I would expect them to be perfect. My burger was dry and flavorless. The meat did not feel like good quality/ fresh. Service was fine.
