Beautiful restaurant and the service was great but the food was mediocre at best. The soup was nothing but chicken broth (NO seasoning) and the salad had tuna in it (never never never seen that) and hibachi itself was bland.

Our server"Olivia" was super nice and treated us and other guests like her brothers and sisters, but the real experience was our chef "Logan". Unlike the usual cook the food and gone, he was interactive and asked about the origin of all seated at his table and shared his. It wasn't like eating at a restaurant, but more like a family gathering with family I have known all my life, thanks to Logan. Thnx Olivia and Logan for making this the best Kobe experience ever.

It was early in the sinner service about 5pm. I asked to be seated in a quiet booth and if it was the hottest that was fine, too. The hostess understood and relayed it to my waiter (male). All started well.I was undecided about if I wanted something more than hot tea, he was patient, and brought me a cocktail menu. I ordered Sushi deluxe (9 pieces, rainbow roll, and soup and salad are included. I had a Johnny Walker Black served neat/straight.The food was presented well, tasted fine but the fish were the same three types. That was my SOLE complaint. I would have gotten the appetizer, added my choice pieces and rolls.

I love this restaurant, there isn't a dish I have had here that I don't like. The crab Rangoon is fantastic, all of the sushi rolls are great, the hibachi dishes are amazing (especially chicken katsu), and to top it off, the staff is always on top of it.

This was our first visit to this location and I will start this off by saying that the staff is super nice and attentive. The food however was a little underwhelming. For our visit, we had a larger party, occupying 2 teppan tables with 2 chefs. Food was pretty bland and choices seemed limited compared to other teppan restaurants that we have visited.

I come to Kobe regularly and have for a while. The phone is constantly disconnected and when it is if you’re lucky enough to get an answer they’ll hang up. There are two hostess who are beyond sweet! Today they were not there and someone was new. She was not at all friendly. As I stated I come in often mainly during lunch as I prefer a smaller portion being the food doesn’t reheat well in my experience. I was rung up for a dinner order after I specifically asked for lunch. Mistakes happen no biggy, but when brought to the hostess attention. She proceeded to say they’re now charging dinner prices for lunch because of Covid…. instead of just saying it was a mistake.

I absolutely love them. I don't know why there are any bad reviews on them. They are so sweet and the food is always consistent. The place is perfect for almost any occasion. Always clean. Always super friendly.

Got the yak udon noodle dinner and ordered one to go with extra noodles. The to go order came with no extra noodles. They charged me $8 for extra noodles (which is high) but not getting them is not right. They wouldn't correct the issue. I'm so done and over it.

They seem to try, which is more than can be said for some places. A 6 year-old sitting around our grill called out the "chef" that he had burned the eggs. The 6 year-old was right. My order included steak and they were one short when the chef started slicing and dicing. He was brought out a steak after everyone had their completed meals in front of them, and cooked mine last, leaving me to eat a plate of steak (because I ate everything else while I was waiting). Just poor form and presentation. Onion volcanos are great for the kids, but as an adult, I'm even more entertained when they get the order right. This place feels like it was a great date night place ten or fifteen years ago.
