Never could get waited on. Sat for 20 min without being acknowledged and finally just left. Dishes piled up on tables. The cook was working hard but the waiter was more interested in his phone than working.

Typical Waffle House, which isn't a bad thing. We love the waffles. The grits were cooked perfectly. Hashbrowns crispy. Our server was Choo Choo, and he was very nice & attentive.

Decided to grab breakfast here because they're normally pretty fast. Our server must be fairly new because he was not too observant, and our food was kind of cold when it made its way to the table. I took a video of him strolling his phone while we were trying to get his attention but decided not to post him cause I didn't want him to get fired.

Just left and we had a GREAT breakfast, fast friendly service and the team at the grill was amazing.
I had breakfast for dinner. Now,I know so many think they're too upscale to go here, but those folks are missing out. When I walked in, it was VERY busy, the cook properly wearing a "Rock Star Cook" shirt. He looked really young, but DANG!!! He was slinging with the best of them! There was a crew of 4 and they were hopping the whole time! Either actively serving, cleaning, or organizing. Even for the couple of minutes when they weren't, they were looking for something to do! Oh, and the food was done to perfection. It only seems like you can't screw up breakfast until you've had floppy bacon, crispy eggs, and white or charred hashbrowns. And a heckuva LOT cheaper than fast food! Do yourself a solid and try this place out. Or...go someplace and pay $20 plus tip...or go to fast food and pay $35 for the same amount of food.

If I could leave a negative review, I would. First, our menus were stuck to the table with, I assume, syrup. But skipping a knife under it, was sufficient to pry it loose. Next we noticed the coffee pots…close to black. Looked like they had not been washed in months.
We sat there for quite while before being waited on….so long that I asked my wife if she wanted to go to Cracker Barrel nearby.
Eventually, we ordered food, including coffee. I am a fan of Waffle House, in part, because of the quick delivery of a quality breakfast. I order bacon, 2eggs, dry whole wheat toast, and coffee. My wife ordered the same except no toast.
We then waited for 25-minutes and I again asked my wife if she wanted to leave. We both seriously considered it.
The food arrived after a while. We both were questioning why did it take so long when the restaurant was just 1/3rd full and they had a full complement of staff behind the Counter, none of which looked especially busy.
5-min after the food, we finally received our coffee. While we asked for cream and sweetener, we had to ask a 2nd time. The server never refilled our cups…which we had emptied fairly quickly.
I waited tables for a long time. I always tip generously, especially in smaller establishments. A 30% tip is std for me at waffle houses as we travel. Today, I reluctantly tipped 5%. So sad for me to do this.
Great service and great food. I live in tx so if I'm ever in the area again I will definitely stop in to eat. Great job waffle house!
