We stayed at the Basin Hotel over the weekend and Destiny (tall Destiny) was absolutely amazing. She was friendly, prompt, accommodating and extremely sweet. The food was above average and ambiance was amazing. We ate at a few places downtown but always ended up at Balcony Bar because of the previously mentioned. We had two other waitresses besides Destiny and they were great as well. I can’t wait to go back and enjoy the amazing environment, staff, and relaxation that the Balcony Bar brings to a vacation.

We asked for butter noodles, on the menu they have spaghetti and chicken Alfredo. The waitress told us they did not have butter noodles, but could give us spaghetti without sauce, without meatballs and no bread but still charged us $18. Prices are a bit high for what you get. Don't recommend.gping on spring Break.

Just had lunch with my wife and two granddaughters . They sat us right away on the patio over looking Spring St. The patio is pet friendly and the server brought out a bowl of water for our dog.We had the Best Burger and the girls had a shrimp dinner and a chicken strip dinner.The burgers were very good and very big. We both had leftovers. The chicken strip dinner consisted of 4 large chicken breasts. Not your typically sized chicken strips. She had plenty of leftovers.The server was very responsive, polite and attentive.As far as the automatic 18% tip added to the bill. That fact is listed on the menu for all to see, before even ordering. If you don't personally believe in that practice....get up and leave ...and go to McDonald's. It's also explained why that's being done. If a person can't tip 18% at a minimum....maybe you should just stay home.Our service, food quality, food quantity and price were spot on. I tipped an additional $20.00 right to the server, who was very appreciative and who had been working since 6am. We were there at 2pm.We will be back !!Thank-you.

I had their hamburger which they call THE BEST BURGER EVER! And it was quite delicious. A mix of two high quality beef patties with wonderful fixings and a bakery bun.Wifey had cheddar broccoli soup in a bread bowl and she said it was good.He said out under the canopy and it was a bit windy and chilly outside but the heaters from above kept us nice and toasty and made for a wonderful evening.Do stop by as the food, service, ambiance and atmosphere are very wonderful!
