My experience was not a good one. Booked the Mineral suite for two days. When i arrived they had a crew working on the hotel from 7am to 7pm. Nothing bit loud banging ALL DAY LONG! How is someone supposed to relax and enjoy when there are hammers banging all day long?!? I DEFINITELY wont be returning to this spa again

WOW!! Spectacular hotel in the heart of Downtown Hot Springs, AR. This is sacred ground and should not be missed. Great dignitaries have stayed there over the years and is friendly to all walks of life.

Sammy at front desk was extremely rude and dismissive. Parking was full had to park a good way down the road in a unsecured dark lot. Found a roach in our room bathroom. Walls/doors very thin could hear everything going on outside the room. Breakfast was good and that staff was very friendly. Will not stay again due to Sammy. We complained at check out and manager didn’t want to talk to us she just told the lady to give us $25 discount.

A grand old hotel that is down on its luck. Maybe if you ask for a renovated room you could have a better experience. My room had a filthy carpet, cracked and peeling paint, and a dark, dirty shower. There's no light in the enclosed shower stall and the shower head came out about 5 ft off the ground, so I had to squat to wash my head. There is no functioning HVAC as they run on an old boiler system, so if you want to cool your room at night forget it. The room furnishings were acceptable and the lobby is nice. Good location for access to the park and bathhouse row. Construction began Friday and Saturday before 8:00 a.m., but on Sunday at least they waited until 9:00. Drilling and hammering, no way to sleep through it. On Thursday the front desk said I could have a late check out on Sunday, but on Sunday when I asked how late that was they said there would be no late checkout. The Arlington also charges a fee to pay by credit card, as if in the 21st century guests normally carry hundreds of dollars in cash when traveling. The only thing that could have made this stay worse would have been bedbugs.

Very disappointed. Was not aware of renovations when I made the reservation or I would not have stayed. Our room was right next to a room being renovated. Hammering and saws running at 7:30 in the morning. A worker right outside my window. This is on the 7th floor so I had a crack in the curtain. Woke up to someone looking at me through the window. A/C did not work. It was cold outside so it wasn’t hot but it definitely wasn’t cool enough. Resort fees apparently have become a thing with a lot of hotels and is absurd. Also had a deposit put on that I was not told about. As others have said, the rooms are outdated and moldy. The bathroom is small and shower was moldy. Hopefully the renovation helps. I may attempt a stay after renovations are completed. However, the lobby is beautiful and the band was fun to watch. We did enjoy that part of our trip. Also, location is excellent.

Love this hotel always our go to stay . The only thing that I would change is no coffee in the am downstairs for early risers it is not a good morning when you have to wait for Starbucks to open when your husband is still sleeping upstairs.

While we loved the history of the building it was not a pleasant stay. It was difficult to sleep because no air was running so our room was extremely hot. Some of the fixtures in the room were broken such as the bathroom door knob. After arriving home I discovered bed bug bites. I would currently not recommend.

We stayed in a junior suite. The staff was courteous and helpful. However, the room was not clean. It was plainly apparent it had not been vacuumed, the bathtub had hair in it from the last guest, and there was what appeared to be bird feces on one of the walls. I can only assume that occurred when windows were being changed out. We love the Arlington, and we hope they spend some time and money on upgrading the rooms. Until that occurs, I believe we’ll spend our money somewhere else.

Let me tell you this I’ve ate all over the world, but Miss Jess was the best person I’ve ever seen that waited on me. I believe her name was Jesse Chapman, but I’m telling you now thank y’all for having her here. This was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had Being here at the Arlington Hotel in Resort.

This is an old hotel that was poorly restored. The minimum was done to bring it up-to-date. There was a power cord from a refrigerator that was stretched across the floor. Table and chair were set in an awkward position in a corner. There were not evnough outlets and the room was drab -- very drab. The bathroom had little counter space and hot water was lacking. In addition, we had to a pay a "resort fee" which we were not told about which was "snuck in" on the bill. Valet parking was not cheap ($28/day) but all-things considered, was in-line w/ non-valet parking ($21/day). The hotel is downtown and traffic geting there was difficult, but once you are there, walking is the best unless you absolutely need a car. The staff was friendly, but the hotel would do better by re-renovating and making the rooms less drab...

Do not expect a luxury room. There isn’t a way to adjust the heat or air. The carpets are horrible. But the restaurant is great. The atmosphere is historically on point.

Disgusting!!! That sums it all upFirst room had hair in the beds, food in the floor, long black hair in the tub and bathroom floor. Room 564- Called the manager up to see, he admitted its "unacceptable " gave us an upgrade to a Jr Suite, Room 701. It was very out of date. Mold in the grout, the floors are so Disgusting it turned our socks black to walk on them. The carpet reeked of sour odor & covered in black stains. I always bring sleeping bags when we travel and our own pillows, thank God I did. We stripped the nasty sheets and did our best to sleep in the horrid beds. The beds sagged in the middle and the headboards were not even connected. $186 dollars wasted on a Disgusting room. NEVER will we ever waste our money here again . Parking is not free folks, another big issue. Chairs in the room were worn down on the arms like you see is used thrift shops. Wallpaper looks like it has never been wiped down, they spot painted the ceiling to cover up water damage. Bathtub filled to our ankles while trying to shower. The minute we woke up we checked out and were very glad to be gone. Ps I have lots of photos of the filthSadly as all other reviews, the company will just apologize and ask that we give them another chance. How bout saying " we will refund you for the diaster of the conditions in your disgusting room " I have seen cleaner conditions in the streets where homeless people live. No apologies needed dear Arlington owners, if you continue to keep the doors open with this many complaints, you truly do not care. The front desk was a disaster, Ally...learn how to take reservations, our last Name is WARREN not LOREN, cost us a very lengthy wait to get stuff straight. We should have taken that as a sign to leave.

First of all, the lobby smelled like someone trying to cover up cigarette smoke with heavy perfume. Very assaulting when you walk in. We had to change rooms because the first one had black mildew and rust on the air vent for the a/c. The second room had coffee stains on the carpet, torn lamp shades, and the shower wall was stained and looked like it was ready to burst into the tub. The pictures on the website are not representative of what the hotel actually offers. The only positive is that our room was quiet.

Normally when we come to Arlington Hotel in Hot Springs we have a wonderful time. I will have to say, this is the first time we are disappointed. Our first room (643) had throw up on the side of the bed. So they move us to (223). When we get to the room, it hasn’t been cleaned. Trash overflowing, tv doesn’t work. Stuff spilt all over the counters. So I go downstairs and the manager doesn’t care. So I guess we will find elsewhere to stay when we come back. Oh and room 223 has No view out the windows.

The Arlington is an old historic hotel, and the rooms reflect that. They are rather small. Bathroom layout and hardware are dated, and there is no vanity space. However, since it is historic, one might expect that. Service was lacking for me. The check-in/chech-out process is hectic and feels disorganized. The process is partially manual, which makes it a little cumbersome. The food was over-priced for the quality. It tasted average and was the wrong temperature - it was cold. The location was excellent! Everything you might want to see or experience is within walking distance. Just use extra caution crossing the street! The crossing lights are difficult to see, and often, drivers do not see them and fail to yield to pedestrians. Overall, the experience was great. It was very relaxing, even without a thermal bath and massage. I recommend it!
