The people where nice and the atmosphere was great and the place was clean. I only had one problem I didn't get what I ordered and specifically asked for well done three times and got bloody meat even though it was the wrong order.

Had a good meal. We Were there for my brother's girlfriend's birthday. The cook was pretty funny and interacted with everyone. He did a good job with everyone's meal.So apparently the new thing is adding the tip to the ticket now. They added the tip and totaled it. So because of this, this is what he only got. I was going to tip more cause he did an awesome job but I don't like being told or forced to tip. So due to his employer he missed out. I always tip good and usually more if the service was good.
Ordered here after like three years, and it's just as good as it was then. Ordered hibachi, chicken, and crispy spring rolls to go. Food was hot and tasty! Service was minimal as I had it to go; but everything was correct so kudos! Ambiance is always cool as they have an actual Terracotta soldier (might not be real idk but it's cool) along with a general with a staff that I can't remember the name of. But equally cool nonetheless.

We sat at one of the grills, the chef got everyone's order mixed up (including my daughter's with a shellfish allergy) The serverwould only get refills on drinks for 2 of the 3 sides of the table, so no refills for four of us. Food did taste great though.

Arrived at 4:00 p.m. on a Saturday. Rainy outside. Asked for a seat to just order sushi. Sat at the Booth line across from the bar. The waiter was very attentive, polite, no complaints whatsoever with him. However there were two women who were rolling up silverware into linen napkins and just talking about everything. Talking about service in the military, talking about having to roll up the silverware, talking about other employees not doing their jobs... It made it a horrible atmosphere. Over on the other side of the room, people sat at the traditional Japanese style grills having the time of their lives. I felt like we were side thoughts stuck in the basement.I don't know how two women could be so tone deaf. My meal cost the same amount as the people who are seated in the other part of the restaurant. Why would they think my meal wouldn't matter?That aside, I had a tuna tataki and it was obviously sliced before being cooked on both sides. I did not eat it but it was only $10 so I didn't really say much I had one other roll that was very good. Friend had a bento box and he seems pretty happy with portions.Too expensive for the quality of food and lack of atmosphere.
