Just wanted to thank the staff. I was there at the end of August for lunch with my mom when I got the call from my vet that I would have to put my cat down. I immediately started breaking down after we had already gotten our food. The server took notice and asked if I was okay. When it came time to check out, they said our meals were on the house. Thank you all so much for being so caring, empathetic and generous. You guys shined a light on a day that was so dark for me. You have a forever customer with us ❤️

I'm down in the area for four weeks of training with no chow hall, so I decided to try this hole in the wall for dinner. Great food (so far I've had the tuna steak sandwich, chicken fried steak platter, and the reuben w/ corned beef; yes I'm going back to try more), great service, and really cool atmosphere.

This is more of a seat yourself situation restaurant. We were served quickly with water when we were greeted and then looked briskly over the menu. We chose the onion rings for our app, the bonsai nachos for entree, and the chicken tenders with sweat potato fries. The onion rings came out very fast with the waiter telling us not to expect anything else to come out quickly… that was odd to say but ok. The onion rings were bland and flavorless and needed some kind of dipping sauce but all we could get was ketchup. When we were served our meal again we were told not to expect anything else this quickly ever again… and again it was strange. The nachos were par for the course with nothing really special to them and made me wonder why I ordered them in the first place. Probably because it had the word bonsai in the name. The chicken tenders were fine and again par for the course but the sweet potato fries were limp and kind of soggy. If this is your only choice of restaurant then I guess it will do but you can get better quality food elsewhere.
