First time eating here. I’ve been looking forward to trying it for a long time.Pros:Quickly seated and wait staff were attentive without being too attentive.Food was hot and freshCons:Chicken was extremely greasyFound two hairs deep fried into the chicken breast (please wear hair nets)Sweet potato “casserole” was just sweetened and mashed sweet potatoes. The texture was identical to baby food. No brown sugar and pecan crunch topping. ?Bread pudding was okay. But swimming in way too much cinnamon rum sauce.Table appeared clean but was sticky. Not impressed enough to visit again.

This was disgusting. I like a good greasy French fry or piece of chicken as much as the next guy, but the grease was dripping off of everything. There was no seasoning other than the taste of slimy grease. My families fried items went barely ate. Somehow the grilled chicken salad that I got was even greasy! We won’t be back and unless your looking to cash in some life insurance with a heart attack I would steer clear.

Our server was very good, old school diner service. Lunch was served in a few minutes and the fried chicken was too hot to eat right away. This is still an Arkansas classic. Battered french fries were excellent, from real potatoes. No more AQ salad dressing was a downer.

Stopped in for lunch on our way home from Eureka Springs as we have many times before. I ordered the bone in pan fried chicken, wife ordered the boneless chicken. Waitress tells wife her order is going to take a little longer. That should have been my clue that the bone in was precooked. The bone in was not very hot and appeared to be baked. I was so disappointed, probably won't go back. Although service was excellent and speedy.

Called to place a to go order, simply requested the spaghetti sauce be in a separate container from the spaghetti noodles so that by the time we get home with the spaghetti it’s not just all soggy. I was told they were too busy and they wouldn’t do that. Asked to speak with a manager as I know it’s not the poor girls fault who’s taking the order. However this “manager” also said and I quote “with as busy as well are I am not doing that.” No apologies, nothing. Outstanding customer service AQ.

My co-worker's family recommended we eat at AQ. Overall it was okay. The rolls were delicious. The seasoning on the chicken was good. Serving size was decent. The BBQ chicken is pretty saucy (& unfortunately mine was cold). The other two pieces were tasty. I got the blackberry cobbler... the crust was a bit too thick for my taste, but the filling was good. I didn't get it a la mode, which would have been better with the crust. We were seated quick. Service wasn't as fast, but our server was nice. Overall, it was okay.

Pretty good catfish and tons of okra, the catfish was pretty good, I would’ve liked it crispier however. The okra and coleslaw were both good too, it’s a ton of okra!

Cool building and heritage. It looks like they deep cleaned or recently painted. The food doesn't make me want to come back though. The chicken seemed like it was fried with batter, and not dipped in flour. The technique isn't bad, but it was sorta odd. Chicken was slightly overcooked in texture, and then room temperature. Macaroni was mush, like cooked in a huge batch and just sitting warm. The cheese sauce was like cheap box macaroni. Very much like water. I am glad it is less bad than fast food in some ways. It was real chicken, and not a processed patty. None of it was cooked well though. It was very low priced as well. Waitress was awesome. The main reason I go anywhere is the food though.

We were headed to Branson and it was time for lunch and we decided to take a small detour to AQ Chicken House and we couldn’t find it. We drove around where it should be and after a couple of drive-bus, finally found what we recognized as the establishment sans signs so apparently it is closed permanently. What kind of rating do I give but one “dot” when a place is closed?

It's been a long time, but it was just as delicious as I remember. Also had to get some batter fries and gravy! A Q is must stop if you're in North West Arkansas.

I think this restaurant has lost some of its past glory. The interior is a little worn and they seemed understaffed on a Friday night. Service was spotty and we had to ask several times for the different items to be done. One person ordered a side salad and it was delivered after the meal. Food was ok. Not was one would expect from a place advertising they served the best in town.

If I could give a negative star I would - absolutely hands down the worst chicken we have ever had. Chewy doesn't begin to describe what we had. The staff was rude and the manager was no where to be found. Sad that such a great restaurant has gone down the drain.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Food was awful and almost inedible. Service was almost as bad. Took 25 minutes to get all the food out. They completely didn't make an order. We arrived at 5:30 and didn't get food until 7. Completely awful place. Do not eat here.

We rode our bicycles 18 miles from Bentonville to eat here on Sunday, Aug 14….something we have done many, many times. Got here at 5:00 PM. Doors locked. Nobody home. No note on the door. Tried calling and got a message that they are UNABLE TO TAKE MY CALL??!! TripAdvisor and their website say they are open until 8:00 PM every day. Needless to say, we were very disappointed and hangry. The moral of the story is: Just like during the pandemic, it’s always wise to CALL FIRST!

Freaking disgusting!!! The waitress didn't wash her hands after using the bathroom according to my wife, there was black dirt all in the heavily used carpet, and the food was nasty! How is this place even open???
