My girlfriend and I found this place on our way home from vacationing in Rogers Arkansas. We had been craving fried catfish but never found a place highly reviewed in northwest Arkansas.Meomyo’ had good enough reviews to peek our interests. Plus it’s right off interstate 30.It’s located in a small strip mall but don’t let that chase you away. We’ve had great food operating out of a gas station.The atmosphere is typical country Cajun, lots of wood panels, taxidermy and simple chairs and tables.I had the 3 piece catfish basket. 3 pieces of fried catfish, fries and 3 hush puppies.My girlfriend had the catfish Acadiana, two fried catfish fillets over dirty rice with crawfish etouffee and 3 hush puppies.The fillets were huge. Fried to perfection in a courser ground cornmeal. This gave the catfish a crunch like fried chicken with the tender white meat underneath. We absolutely LOVED IT! Her etouffee was delicious. Nice big pieces of delectable crawfish perfectly seasoned.The only complaint we had was that the hush puppies were almost burnt. They should have never been platted. It was late in the afternoon and we still had 6 hours drive to Houston plus it the staff was breaking for dinner before the evening business so we didn’t complain.The prices were excellent for the portions of both meals.This is a place we’ll come back to on every trip to Arkansas. Hopefully better hush puppies.

Tried them for the first time today and the food was disgusting. The fish taste like fake fish with a gummy texture and the fries and hush puppies were burnt couldn’t even eat and the gumbo was so watery it had no flavor just nasty. So mad we wasted our money on something we couldn’t eat.

What a delicious surprise. You walk in and order at the counter then they bring it to you at your table. The staff was friendly. Made suggestions. We both started with gumbo. It was a little thin but had a good flavor and lots of chicken. I got the Catfish Acadiana. The shrimp etoufee on top was so so so so good. Sadly the dirty rice was meh and the catfish, while it was a generous portion, was just good, not great. Same with hubs shrimp. Good, not great. The hushpuppies were delightful! Great flavor and cooked perfectly. The Cajun mac n cheese was old school Velveeta mac n cheese with a kick. Yumm! Definitely will go back when we are in the mood for Cajun, though.

Excellent shrimp and grits and 2 sides! Tasty red beans and rice! You all should expand your business and consider doing a food truck at the fair and other events in town.

Oh my goodness this restaurant was fantastic happiness. I have eaten a great deal of food in my time none as spectacular as this Southern Cuisine. Everything we Receive d was flawless and and most excellent. the master chef greeted us to ensure our meal was as pleasant as he intended. The counter staff and weights staff were some of the most courteous and customer service oriented folks we had met on our trip. If I am through Texarkana again, I will most definitely seek out this restaurant.

Great food and portions but I asked for beans instead of fries and even asked if it's an extra charge. I was told no extra charge but I still got fries instead. The boudin burger is actually 2 double patty burgers with cheese. They're kind of mushy but they taste good. It's not the most expensive or cheapest Cajun place I've been to.

It's open. I went on 8/16/22.Big portions and good food but you may or may not get the items you order. I asked for beans instead of fries. I didn't get them. The boudin burger is pretty good and you get 2 with double patties. It's not the cheapest or most expensive I've been to.

My family and I wanted to do something different for lunch so we decided to stop by The Cafe and I will have to say I wasn't disappointed at all. The customer service was on point and they were so friendly. My daughter ordered the Catfish Po'Boy and her boyfriend ordered the Sausage Po'Boy and both was good and I ordered the Shrimp Etouffee over crab cakes. I would go back againKid-friendliness: They were so friendly to my granddaughter they made sure that she had a good experience as well

The shrimp ravioli and corn maque choux is awesome. Also crab cakes smothered with crawfish etouffee is so good. We enjoyed everything. Great tea too. Very friendly staff. I highly recommend it.

Best Cajun food place in town! They have a wonderful staff and best fried shrimp in town ! They have something on the menu for everyone ! Not to mention some of the BEST Red Beans and rice I’ve ever had ! Not going to lie me and my friends eat there 1-2 times every week ! If you haven’t eaten here ya need too!
The food was INCREDIBLE. We were greeted warmly and then proceeded to have some seriously good food! So good that we called the restaurant after we got home to let them know how much we enjoyed it! Thanks again Meomyo’s!

I know nothing about Cajun food, so when ordering, I asked what comes on the poor boy sandwich. I was advised whatever I wanted. I asked what should be on it, and was given a Laundry list of things. Not trying to be rude, I said no what should be on the sandwich (thinking I would get their expertise in Cajun food and tell me what is best on a poor boy), again I got “whatever you want on it”. By now my wife was trying to advise me. I could not take it anymore, so we left. Good luck!!

I guess I'm just not a Cajun food person. The three persons with me completely enjoyed their food. I was just OK with my choice. I would probably go back and try another selection, just because of the friendly atmosphere. There is a second soda type fountain, that has an absolutely great selection of drinks. This is a great option. I mixed lemon aide, with black cherry. Yummm. The price was resturant midrange, and the serving was more than enough for an adult. Enjoy.
