“So I went back and gave it another shot. I grew up eating Shrimp Basket at various beaches, so at first I didn't think it was that special. I'm also not a seafood guy. But wow! I must've gone on a bad night because I was very happy with my meal, and I really enjoyed the vibe in there! It's a fun little place to hang out and get a good meal at a decent price. I forgot my server's name, but I remember that she was from Colorado. She was awesome! Super friendly, quick, and made me feel like family. I really appreciate the SB management encouraging me to try them again. I learned an important lesson: every business has bad days, and it's not fair to judge them for that. Thanks, SB!”

“Bow & Arrow Restaurant in Auburn, AL is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. I have always had a delightful experience and the food is abolutely delicious. Bow & Arrow serves up an assortment of smoked meats that can be enjoyed on their own with an array of traditional southern and tex mex sides like mashed potatoes and gravy, collard greens, borracho beans, and sweet corn rice. The menu also includes enchiladas, fajitas, tacos as well as a brand new cocktail menu featuring twenty-six new libations, with of course, margaritas! I had the BBQ sandwich with fries and it was absolutely delicious and my server was very friendly and was attune to my needs.”

“Met my daughter (an Auburn student) for dinner after a conference at the hotel. We had a lovely experience and will absolutely be back and recommend. We had a leisurely dinner, from the focaccia to splitting the crunchy chocolate dessert cake. We split a bottle of champagne and had the relaxed, no-rush to hand us a check experience that is so rare in US restaurants.The focaccia wasn’t traditional, and a baker would probably say it was too soft, technically. Well, we could have eaten six of them, it was so good. Would have liked a more robust olive oil with it, and I didn’t get a lot of the rosemary flavor as its name promised, but it was a treat to open the meal with. Highly recommend.She had the beef filet cooked “medium-rare plus one minute,” and it was perfect. She said the seasoning was “a little uneven,”heavier on one side, but I didn’t detect that in the slice I stole. Nicely cooked and super tender. I had the shrimp fra diavolo: spicy sauce and succulent shrimp. I could have taken a little less of the sauce for a lighter dressed pasta, but that is really nitpicking. Dessert: not too sweet and a perfect ending.The menu is varied, with pizzas, antipasto and vegetables (really likes our roasted cauliflower), but small enough for attention to detail.Our meal wasn’t cheap: appetizer, two entrees, dessert and a bottle of wine, but it was a great night. A three-hour evening of good food, drink and conversation. Diners around us were having fun. And students on limited … funding … can split an appetizer and a pizza and not feel it too hard in the bank account. Leftovers were packed away and ready for another day.”

“This is a standby favorite. Pros: great menu, love the food, servers are very friendly and attentive. Cons: the room is really tight and not easy to maneuver for diners or servers, and the restroom is not very accessible.”

“This was a 1st for me, and it's not going to be the last. Relaxed atmosphere and our waiter, Samuel, who appeared to be new, tried to explain everything to me. Some of the dishes came out late because he got confused, but he was really nice. We ordered mixed drinks that were good, but they snuck up on us, lol. I would definitely recommend it.”

“Need a custom cake? Carolyn the cake decorator does wonders! WOW! She recommended the moist yellow cake, and I asked for sprinkles all over. Her handwriting on top was beautifully fancy. We picked it up on a Sunday, and my daughter and friends devoured the whole cake that night. Kroger, hold tight to that Carolyn. The bakery lady at pickup was darling as well (sorry I forgot her name). P.S. Carolyn was creating beautiful icing flowers when I walked up to order so keep that in mind too.”

“Excellent açaí and pitaya bowls. Just the right amount of sweet granola, and a huge portion of fruit. Be prepared to feel full and energized. Staff makes the bowls fairly quickly also. The only one I tried was the Beachin' Bowl.”

“The Only Reason I'm Giving 5 Stars because The Food was Great. Our Waiter was friendly and good. But someone that worked there had a child in the kitchen that cried for the first 45 Minutes we were there. My wife picked this place. It was our first time there to celebrate our 17th wedding anniversary. We wanted a special night out for Dinner. At least the food was great.”

“My husband and I come here often, however, tonight we had the best waitress we have ever had. Ms. Shayna was extremely polite, sweet and on it. We watched as she waited on table after table with the same friendly up beat demeanor. She didn't rush us and her personality and attitude was AMAZING. We will definitely be requesting her each time we come back. The food as amazing, but Ms. Shayna definitely made our night.”

“I love Live Oaks but they are not open until 4pm on Saturdays even though there are football games going on. Today, they decided not to have draft. It would be nice if they would open at 11am on Saturday (when there are college games) and open at 12 on Sunday for the NFL.”
