Bummed this place is closing.I’m visiting and I walked passed this place and saw the sign they been in business over 100 years and they were closing. I wasn’t hungry but I felt obligated to try it out.The food was so good. I got a beef and pork tamale with rice and black beans. Chips and salsa were complimentary. The food was amazing. Tamales can be hit or miss but there’s were really good.Customer service was attentive and amazing.

30min for beans and chips- good thing this place is shutting down. That’s where it belongs.

I absolutely love Serranos. I have lived here for a long time, and this is definitely a staple spot of mine. I'm so sad that they will be closing their doors at the DT Chandler location. The food has always been superb, authentic, and so darn delicious. The bean dip the best around, and their salsa is so fresh. Tony is an amazing server/bartender/friend. He always makes you feel so welcome and as if I've been invited to his home for dinner/lunch. I will miss the closeness of this location. But I will definitely make it out to the Queen Creek one for the delicious food and wonderful company. Thank you for everything!

Used to be great but now since they are closing they are very disappointing.

The food was excellent as always. The service was a bit slow although it was a Friday night. Serrano's is unfortunately closing permanently soon. Visit soon before they close.

Great food. Nice monthly specials. Quick pick up if you call in order.Sometimes a wait for a table as they are popular. And more busy now they closing this site on June 1. Service is good. They will sometimes make you wait for a table to make sure they can service you better. Check menu for the GF and vegetarian choices. So sad they are closing this site.Hurry before they go.

Vegetarian options: Not a lot but there are several vegetarian and vegan options.

Dietary restrictions: Biggest dairy free is order with no cheese. There are several gluten free by having corn instead of flour tortillas.

Parking: Has a good main lot behind the restaurant and an overflow lot just to the north that not everyone realizes is the restaurant parking.

Wheelchair accessibility: Has easy accessibility.

Dinner last night with a friend who wanted Mexican food, Serranos fit the bill. Our waiter Dean was top notch! Pray he has employment at one of the other locations.

The price and the food are out of this world. Robert is the one of the best bartender I have seen in a long time and he served our table. Made us feel like we had been going there for years even though it was our first time at Serranos and we loved it!!! Wish it was here longer!!! Very very good service & food.

Visiting ASU for a day and decided to try what was said to be the oldest family owned restaurant in Chandler. Food was terrific and Ryan took very good care of us. My wife is very particular about margaritas and this one was about perfect...not too sweet. Bring your appetite, the portions are huge even by our usual Texas standards. The only reason I didn't put 5 stars on the food was that the black beans had a little too much tomato flavor for my taste. If there were half stars I'd put 4 1/2 stars for food. Well worth a visit.

We had Isela as our server, she was amazing! Sad to see this location closing. Enjoyed having a last birthday dinner. Congrats Isela! I hope you have a healthy and safe delivery!
