Great service! Gayle was amazing and very knowledgeable. Wine was horrible. Not Gayle’s fault.

Malbec our favorite.

A hidden gem!! Barb was our host and couldn't have been friendlier. The wines were excellent and we enjoyed them with some truffles!! Very inviting and relaxing!! I highly recommend this winery!!

Rude and indifferent attitude from server. Non-engaging personality. No educational value at this tasting. We made our purchases elsewhere.

Stopped in yesterday at 6 pm. We had already did a few wines elsewhere and snacks. Hadn't done Carlson Creek. We walked in. Not one person in there. ( even though the town was quite busy yesterday) We sat at the bar.... And I wanted a glass. ( not a tasting). I read over the menu and decided on my choice and did my friend. ( no suggestions offered or any words spoken by our host). So I said.." oh my... are you closing soon?" No... we close at 7:00. Oh.. so we have an hour. You would think we showed up at 5 mins to closing. She poured our wines. Then her friend came in ( that works at Burning Cellars.. because we saw her there). They stood behind the open wall. Not friendly... not welcoming. I took one drink. Said excuse me.. we'll cash out. Paid and left. ( yes.. with an almost full glass ). Went elsewhere.

We had amazing time this rainy Sunday afternoon. Gayle was very helpful and informative on the wines as well as to what was still available to purchase. We will definitely be back and recommend the 2019 rule of three and for sweeter wine the 2020 sweet Adeline reisling.

Spending a month last July in Sedona, took a road trip into Cottonwood to check out the town. Were looking for wine tasting places in the town and came across Carlson Creek. It was a wonderful experience. The hostess was very friendly and knowledgeable on the wines and spent time sharing where the wines were from and history. It was fascinating to know Arizona has a viable wine business and unique from the popular California regions. The wines during our tasting all were good and wound up spending time and ordering a glass of one of the reds after tasting. The hostess also shared some history about Cottonwood which was above and beyond. Bought some of the coolest shirts here and when we wear them everyone always asks where they came from. The wine bottles in the design of the Arizona flag on the shirt, awesome way to promote AZ!! During a trip to Cottonwood, this place is worth a stop in.

Horrible customer service, skip this tasting room. The two women behind the counter could not be bothered and could careless that we just sat there for over 5 min with not as such as a hello when we walked in the door. They looked at us multiple times and if they would have been busy I would have understood but they werent. We ended up walking out and don't plan on ever going back.

Had a eonderful experience this weekend, service was fantastic, I am not a wine enthusiast however the staff helped me pick wines for a novice and we truly enjoyed what was suggested. I might be hooked, thanks to the great staff.

Skip this one! This was such a disappointment. The service was terrible. The dark brown haired woman behind the counter was uninviting and when asked to describe some of the wine selections, she was not accommodating and rude. She actually stated at one point that we should just slam our tasting so she could close up.

Single rudest service experience on an otherwise lovely vacation. We showed up an hour before closing based on their published hours. The woman behind the counter was clearly irritated to see us come in. She then through a combination of rude attitude and discouraging descriptions basically shooed us out of the place. It was shocking to be made so unwelcome in a storefront business. Especially in comparison to other wineries. Skip this one and try Tantrum.

Do not go here. The woman serving is so rude and does not want to be bothered by customers. We annoyed her for being there 1 hr 20 mins before close because “they decided” to close an hour early so to staffing issues and those website hours are “temporary”. The neighboring wineries said they are hearing massive complaints about their service as everyone bails and goes to them asking if we are “allowed to have wine”

It appears that your experience here depends on the server. My friend and I also had a bad experience with service here. The woman on duty on March 16 in the afternoon wearing her hair in pigtails was arrogant and rude. Not only about the wine but about the town as well. We asked if she knew anything about the kayaking available. She laughed and said no and then added that iThe river has e coli and they call it the dirty Verde. While that may be true, we were not planning on drinking it and there is a more polite way to caution people about waterway usage. We also asked if she had been to Nic's, a local restaurant. She shrugged and said in a very bland tone, 'yes, I've been to all the restaurants around'. We did go there and it was excellent. She should spend time there and learn from their very courteous staff. Her comments about the wine when we asked simple questions were also arrogant. I only wish I had her name to post. Hopefully management will read this and have a word with her.
