Beautiful hotel and historic, friendly staff. Copper queen up the road gets all the press, but this hotel is the belle. Worth the drive and eat at a local spot! Fun day trip from Tucson!

We decided to get a room last minute and the staff at the Gadsden hotel were amazing! The historic hotel is gorgeous, and the rooms are updated yet still have the original feel. The room uses real keys! The antique elevator is definitely something to see! The room had fantastic air conditioning, a mini frige/freezer, cable, and a super comfortable bed. Although I appreciate the vintage style they try to preserve, I have to say that comfort and cleanness have to be top priority. The sink in my room was so battered that I had to use bottle water to brush my teeth. I could not bring myself to put water from that tap into my mouth.On the other hand the hotel was quite, I enjoyed their little restaurant, food was good. Would I stay there again? Maybe.
