Me and my co workers found this restaurant just by driving around town looking for some good food… well we went in with low expectations but as soon as we saw the food coming in we were surprised by the size of the meals, then the flavors!!! *chef’s kiss!*. Our meal was from the lunch menu which included soft drink and sopapillas.. I was expecting to see small sopapillas as usual… naaaah!! I was wrong! There were the size of my palm of my hand! (I got big hands) and the honey… oh honey!!! It was the real deal honey! No the fake honey you buy at the stores!I 100% will go back to this restaurant!!!

We’re did the mix and match combo to-go for a birthday party and it was excellent! The food was delicious, and adding on the to-go margaritas was a hit!

I went to this restaurant because I had read reviews that it was great Mexican food. NOT TRUE...It is the most bland, sauce drenched food covered in cheese that I have ever eaten. I know this may sound gross, but quite honestly I had what looked like beef paté in what was called a ground beef taco. I quite honestly thought I was eating dog food. ? The person that I came with, got the Saturday night special and we don't even know what type of meat it was. I wouldn't even call this place Mexican food. It is very americanized. The salsa tasted like spaghetti sauce with some Chili in it. I took pictures of the food because it looks so good, but I was so disappointed. The only thing I can say about the restaurant that was good was the waitress !!!!! She was great, phenomenal !!!! Very attentive and informative about the menu, her name was Juliana G.The sopapillas were pretty good, too.I am still on the hunt for good Mexican food in Flagstaff. I will not be going back to this place. If you want good Mexican food don't waste your money here, it's overpriced for what you get, no flavor, no authenticity.I brought the leftovers home for my dogs and they wouldn't even eat them. ?

I came in with my hangry family and the whole experience was wonderful. The service was very attentive and friendly. The house chimichanga is the size of a small child, and we had a complimentary dessert, which is always nice.

We went on 3/21 and the staff were dealing with some rough customers. They deserve a lot more hype because they still made sure the rest of us was served. Sopapillas are so

Not sure if there is new management but food was not the same here from my previous visit. Was not pleased with my meal. Had the special and came out like a version of a Navajo Taco.

La Fondas is a staple of the Flagstaff experience. Great food, great drinks and reasonable prices. We went on Taco Tuesday and the offer 99 cent tacos if you order a beverage, water not counting. They always have a special running. Wait time can be expected for popular hours. Parking is limited. Only 2 handicap spots. Men's restroom is very small so wheelchair users won't be able to close the door to the stall. Food can take longer than usual to get to the table. Plenty of TVs in the back for sporting events. Call ahead for wait times.

We stopped in La Fonda's because my husband had a craving for a burrito but he didn't want to go in due to medical issues. We ordered to go - it was quick, easy and our order was brought out to us, easy peasy! My husband said the burrito was delicious, refried beans were so yummy (yes I had to take a few bites ?) - I ordered a hamburger (it sounded good) and it was nice to have a good hamburger. We also ordered a hamburger pattie for my husband's dog - she was very tail wagging happy ?.In our order we received chips and a sopapilla - it was perfect!Highly recommend for anyone who has a craving for great Mexican food. A side note - parking is easy!
