I’ve had a lot of “famous” cheese burgers but this one was by far the best I’ve had thick and juicy just the way a burger should be, and the white cheddar Mac and cheese paired well with it definitely will be back

The BLT was great. Had the chip dip trio. Cheese dip would have been better hot, but it was still very good. My brother had a burger and said it was perfect. Big portions! The service was great, and the music was great, but not so loud you had to yell to have a conversation. Definitely recommend it for yummy food and a great atmosphere!! Try it!!

Did a phone oder last night for pick up. Girl friend went in to get the food and was waiting as she could hear the server in the back complaining about wishing we would hurry up to pick up our order. Was told it would be about 15 mins, and we got their on time. That guy was a joke and completely unprofessional. If not for the manager coming in, she probably wouldn't have been helped. The manager was the one that had to ring her up.

We wanted to try some new food and saw this restaurant on Arizona food week and decided on dinner from famous 66 tonight. We walked past the patio to go inside and really wanted to sit outside but boy was that a mistake!!! It took about 10 to 15 minutes to even just get water then to take our order took a while and it just kept getting longer and longer to get service it even took 45 minutes- 1 hour to get the desert. I had to go inside to check on it and she said the kitchen was really behind. She said that the kitchen put it in as a dine in instead of take out just because we got soooo full and when we got home it looks like part of the cookie skillet is missing (she did say it would look weird because she had to transfer it but it looks like it is missing some).

Hidden prices....Second time here and I swear it's already gotten more expensive. These are downtown Gilbert prices but far from downtown. Nothing "craft" about the food. They just nickel and dime everything here. Ranch was $0.50, and literally every one of our sides was $2.50. And don't ask me what an iced tea cost! So ask before you order.
Highlight would be the music. Taylor and Chappell Roan made our evening. Made up for the corny dinner theme.

This place is always a go to place for our family. Granted we’ve always been here earlier but it’s a great atmosphere. The restrooms are always clean and smell good. Food is great… it does always come out piping hot but who complains about hot food. Overall I think they finally found a restaurant that can handle this infamous location!

We went for lunch and could not get any service. Waited 45 mins and only received a glass of water. I have been here before and it’s nice atmosphere but service is questionable.

Great food, great atmosphere and decent prices. Service has always been on point but sometimes during their busy times you will get lost in the shuffle if you are a party of 2 as the server will focus on the larger table for the "larger tip".

This place is like a typical bar like atmosphere. The food was good, not excellent. The prices are a bit high. I wouldn't get a steak at the prices there that I would spend at the keg prices. I thought it was going to be more of a diner atmosphere. With diner prices. A little disappointed.

We recently dined at Famous 66 AmericanTavern in Gilbert Arizona. We sat at the bar and Beau was our server. Talk about friendly, engaging and hard working! Beau was exceptional. He made serveral suggestions, new the menu like the back of his hand and was able to split plates that we wanted to share. We've been to this establishment in the past and always had good service. Beau went over the top! He is engaging and at the same time you can see he really enjoys his craft. Go to this bar...ask for Beau at the bar. He is a genuine asset to the company and defintely strengthens the brand. THANK YOU!
