In previous visits here over the years, have had less than stellar food and service. Today's lunch.... Service excellent, food, Good. Our waitress was as good as there is. Pleasant, efficient and thinking ahead. Started with the house salad. Fresh, crisp, nice mix. 2 meat combo consisted of ribs ( have had better at Famous Dave's) brisket ( pretty good) fries and corn muffin. Pretty hearty and satisfying lunch. The meat is good, and doesn't need bbq sauce but I like that they have some variety- however only two kinds prepacked (I'm sure you could ask for something else if you prefer but they had the one I like- Devils spit I believe is what it's called). There were 3 of us eating it, I can eat 3/4lb to 1lb myself and my wife and MIL each usually eat about 1/2lb. By the time we were done we easily have a lb left.

I'm very impressed by the managements desire to provide customers with an excellent experience. Upon reviewing my initial take on my experience, the staff immediately reached out to offer a better repeat experience. I appreciate this gesture. The customer service is really top notch.
