While it may not look like much from the outside, the food and service are superb. Look at the photos on the walls for many delicious items offered that are not on the printed menu.
Food is delicious a little over price. I didn't like the mess on the front of the restaurant it is dirty. I don't want to know how the back looks like. They have halves onions everywhere around.
Lucky's King Wah is a Old school style Chinese restaurant on the west side. Don't miss it if you're ever in the neighborhood! House fried rice is definitely A++! But you can't seem to miss on any of the classic Chinese dishes - they all seem to shine in their own special way!
Food and service can't be beat. Tastes very good and enough so you are full.
Ordered the chicken wings and green beans, delish! The delivery lady was very pleasant. I think the pricing was fair. Would order again.
Just had this delivered via Postmates when my regular chinese restaurant said they were too busy. Happy to try out a new place!! Orange chicken was great, crab wontons and egg drop soup. Very tasty, highly recommended! Going to be tough to choose between my now two favs!
This place is my favorite Chinese place in PHX. I love there Hot and Sour soup. I wish it was just a tiny bit more hot. Same with the Spicy Szechuan Chicken Fried Rice. We have also tried the Orange Chicken, General Chicken, Pot Stickers, and Crab Rangoon. Everything was good. However, the General Chicken is not very spicy and has a strong soy sauce taste. Fried rice is always clean. I may not like everything there, but honestly it's still 5 star worthy. This is the only place in PHX I consistently have cravings for. The delivery is very fast as well. I would definitely recommend ordering from here.
So good! Just moved out here from San Diego. We have been looking for 'our spots' this is officially our Chinese spot. We arderse the salt and pepper chicken wings, pork fried rice and veggie eggrolls. They were each amazing!I forgot to take pictures it all smelled so good we just dug in!!!
We were looking for a new Chinese place and found Lucky King Wah. We were so pleased! The food was absolutely fresh, plentiful, and delicious and we'll definitely be going back again.
We ordered two Eggplant dishes about a month ago. We're desperately trying to find a decent EGGPLANT dish so we don't have to drive to either 48th Street and Thunderbird OR 3rd Street south of Thomas. They should have called this the fried onion dish! There were MAYBE "4 or 5" tiny pieces of eggplant! The rest was filled up with grilled ONIONS!!! HOW could they do something like that?!The COVID thing...businesses ARE taking advantage of it! Since you're not eating there, they feel they can get away with screwing you!IF you're looking for the BEST, tastiest eggplant dish, try CHINA CHILI on 3rd Street or the NEE HOUSE on 48th Street north of Thunderbird.SHOULDN'T HAVE DONE THIS TO US KING WAH, very, very bad move on your part. You're going to lose money, just like we lost money trying your Onion dish---WHOOPS, I mean your Eggplant dish.
Excellent My husband had General Tsos (spelling) chicken with fried rice. I had walnut shrimp with noodles. And we shared chicken dumplings. Everything was fresh, hot and really tasty. Portions are generous! We will pick it up ourselves next time though. Kind of irritating...you try to help out with keeping restaurants going during this time of COVID but by the time you pay a tip, service fee and delivery fee as well as a tip to the actual delivery personDelivery was weird too...we have a courtyard with a simple, easy open gate. There is also a table reachable from the other side but this person left our food on the ground in front of the gate and was gone by the time we got out there...so no tip
Our favorite Neighborhood Chinese restaurant great food great service orange chicken is simply delicious with house fried rice and best of all it's always fresh
The assorted appetizer plate was done very well , particularly the pair of chicken wings and shrimp which had a tempura coating instead of just breading making them delicately crunchy delites . The spicy chicken entree was very good , plenty of chicken , a variety of veggies and seasoned so that it's spicy while you're eating it but didn't linger . This is my new ' go - to ' Chinese place .
First time trying this establishment. I got delivery and the food came to me hot. The flavor of the beef chow fun was moist, the beef was not chewy but melted in your mouth. I'd get delivery again!!
Over priced, bland, and greasy. Ordered szchesuan vegetables, consisted of celery, a few mushrooms and a few broccoli sprigs. The vegetables weren't spicy, and had a slightly sweet undertone, with a hint of burnt wok. Not going back.
