The food was fantastic. All the wait staff were above outstanding. The prices were a tad bit expensive (the $25 crab leg was the size of a half dollar). But overall, Nineteen 86 is an example of truly fine dining!

Service was excruciatingly slow and subpar! Haven't been here in over a year and will NOT go back! Ordered prime rib medium and it arrived SWIMMING in blood! Awful!!! Salad lettuce was brown and bitter! Unacceptable!!!

Despite the restaurant being overwhelmingly empty, we were sat right next to someone eating by themselves. We were in very close proximity to this person, which seemed incredibly unnecessary for a mostly empty restaurant. It took a very long time to get water, as we had received our drinks and our bread and still waited a very long time for water. Our waiter was very difficult and to understand and was very pushy about additional drinks and appetizers. We really like Nineteen 86 and have been here before, but I felt the service was rude and subpar this time. It makes me consider taking my business elsewhere. For what it's worth, the food itself was excellent as always.

Great steak and service. The dining room is a square open room, so not that much ambiance, but still very nice. Not over the top expensive compared to a Flemings or other high end steak places. Nice wine list. My only complaint about this place is they never answer the phone, ever. Always the same recording saying they will call you back, but they never have.

Took a long time to get our food after we finished the charcuterie board. One guest could not eat the lobster bisque, said it was fishy and had a bad smell. The sea bass was good as was the pork belly.

Our server was fantastic, but it took far too long for us to receive our meals. We were in the restaurant for over two hours.  I'm guessing that the kitchen was shortstaffed.
We had a great dinner and will return and let family and friends know it's a great place to have dinner. My only problem was we stood a the front waiting to be seated for five minutes. The young lady that seated us was not to friendly. Maybe she was having a bad day.

Not our first visit and we'll definitely return. Always perfectly prepared food enhanced by wonderful service. We consider it a special occasion place.....this visit was my husband's birthday so he received a complimentary dessert. We always recommend Nineteen 86!
We live in the west valley and wanted something nice to celebrate a major milestone. Nineteen86 was so good and I was surprised when the bill came, it was lower than I expected. We will definitely eat here again!

We were celebrating my Mom's 58th Birthday with my Grandparents who both are 82 years old. My Grandparents have never in their life experienced a restaurant like this. They were in awe. My reservations did not include them, they were a surprise fly in up until the day of. Nineteen86 not only accommodated my family and I (from a party of 3 to 7) they set up us in their most intimate section of their restaurant. Thank you Nineteen86 for having us. It was a memory of a lifetime.
