It really was a wonderful place! Very homey and almost a cabin feeling! Difficult time and we stopped in for a bite! Everything was really nice I just didn't give it five stars initially because it was such a rough day! Not their fault!

We live in the neighborhood, decided to try The Place. Parking lot was nearly full, was thinking the food was going to be so good. But no. Greated by seating host who couldn't stop yawning, she said she had too much sleep, our pretty young waitress never smiled, had Luke warm personality. Asked her what special of the day was, she didn't know, Asked for refill on coffee and the name of the coffee brand being served, she didn't know. Coffee tasted old, had a musty odor and flavor, hash browns were greasy, and bacon...I love bacon. This bacon at 10:00 AM, was rubbery, tasted like old grilled bacon left from 6 AM. We complained, manager came over, very nice woman, appologized, offer to refund money. I watched other patrons leave so much food on their plates and wonder if they tasted what we tasted. After spending nearly $33 for breakfast, we decided we would stay with IHop or Eddie's off Bell Rd. Maybe this sad waitress will find her niche, this wasn't it. We give it a 2 for the eggs and waffle that were really good

Unfortunately the person I was with was waiting for me to use the restroom quickly before we placed our to-go order and the females were very rude. They were whispering asking why he was there during his review of the menu as I used the restroom. He explained that he was simply waiting to place an order upon my return. Then, a gentleman came over who appeared to be in some type of management position and a young lady at the front began whispering to the manager and then they both looked directly at the person I was with, looked back at one another and continued whispering. Once again they looked at us with a look of us “being out of place,” at THE PLACE! Unfortunately we will no longer dine in or order take-out from this establishment. Racism clearly isn’t dead. What a shame. Shame on you and your staff.

Wait time was ridiculous on a Saturday, Food to the table was 30mins+ Very small like dinning room, everyone’s so close together. It was super packed and busy.I had the chorizo with eggs and they were separate not mixed together as it said it would be on the menu description. The Chorizo was spicy and looked like black beans. Definitely Americanized and not what you’re typically looking for as a Hispanic.I asked the server beforehand the type of chorizo, what type of potatoes, she didn’t know or have any knowledge of the kitchen. However, you have to ask for fresh egg unless you don’t mind liquid pasteurize boxed eggs, the pancakes had no volume or density but they passed okay. Very thin, not my style type of execution. To each their own….They don’t have filtered water only sink water, the oj was sour, breakfast I won’t be back for… maybe I’ll try lunch next time.My friend had the French toast sandwhich and it was huge and amazing! Too much ham but she took it off and went on her merry way. No complaints. My sis had the gluten free pancakes and they were thicker than mine? Haha how did that happen??? She ate half and said she had better. Had all the works too, fruit cream etc

Came around 930am on a Saturday and didn't have to wait in line.We ordered the Country Benedict with hash browns and the Brisket Benedict with diced potatoes.Food came out pretty fast and it was a large portion.Brisket was dry, but was saved from the nice amount of gravy and the diced potatoes were good.Country one was good as well, but I wouldn't recommend the hashbrowns, stick with the diced potatoes.Service was very zippy. By the time we left there was a line out the door.

Popped in for a quick bite. Opted for the pulled pork skillet…for lunch! Huge portions, the food was delicious. The skillet had a base of chopped potatoes topped with pulled pork and gravy and a pair of eggs (over easy, as requested). I opted for pancakes (other choices included toast or biscuit and gravy) which was served with blueberry and maple flavored syrups.
