Great chef and staff. Flat iron steak and scalloped potatoes sooo good. I order it every time! Generous wine pouring. Try it when you are here.

Three date nights in three weeks, with 3 meals at Maria's. All great...food was exceptional, as was the service. The specials were definitely different and scrumptious. The wine selection is good.

Good friends, good food, good times! Give it a try. There seems to be something for everyone. The staff is friendly and cheerful.

We've been fans of Maria's from the get-go. They helped sustain us during "the year of the plague" with their sumptuous takeout chicken pot pies. Usually, we'll make reservations for dinner, but yesterday we wanted something light, early and at-home. Maria's has 2-5 p.m. specials, and I ordered a couple of fried butterflied shrimp plates to go. We were delighted! Half a dozen large butterflied fried shrimp, crispy and delicious, and a generous helping of french fries, cole slaw, ketchup and cocktail sauce. More than satisfying! Kudos to Maria's. We'll definitely have to do this more often.

Ever have a meal that you looked forward to and then was disappointed by the meal? This is what happened to us. My vegetables were soggy and tasteless. My wife's meal was not cooked very well.

We've eaten lunch at Maria's several times recently. Food was very good, service was friendly and efficient, and attention to details was especially appreciated. We have garlic and onion allergies and the servers have been very creative and helpful. Also wheelchair accessible - both the dining area and restrooms - and staff was respectful and caring.

We had dinner at Maria's with friends the other night. The server was very nice. I specifically told her that I am gluten-free (medical reasons) and she said anything could be made gluten free. I ordered the lamb shank and when it came, it was covered in gravy, which was not gluten free. I asked her what she could do and she said they would make another one for me. I waited a long time for another lamb dinner to arrive (the three others were already eating). When it did, it was dry and lacked what I would consider a normal amount of meat. She said it was their last one. I told the server that it was not acceptable and she said what else could we make you (I think that would have been their responsibility). They suggested a pasta dish with GF pasta. I agreed, and after another long wait, the meal came. This time the pasta was not even cooked enough. I had enough and asked her to take it back. I am "not" someone who complains at a restaurant unless it simply does not meet normal expectations. She did take the cost of my dinner off the check, but we will not be returning to Maria's. It is simply not the same as what Olives used to be, unfortunately.

Excellent sandwiches and great staff, Good bar variety as well. Very friendly staff and patrons. I would definitely go back. I didn't order their Italian dishes but they look great.

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised when we stopped for dinner. We had a brand new waitress and she was polite, professional and knew the menu. She made suggestions which were spot on. Both of our dinners were wonderful. We would strongly recommend stopping here for dinner. Do make reservations as they became crowded.

Came in solo fairly close to closing time but they graciously sat me and service was consistently attentive. Steak was done right to order, salad was excellent and bright-tasting. Lot of locals enjoying themselves; good vibe.

We've tried eating here 4 times. The soups are good, but nothing else. Tried the calamari twice -- it was rubbery. Tried the fish & chips -- it was very overcooked. Tried the sea bass -- it was dry & tough, no flavor. We never were asked if anything was wrong or if we liked the food, even though we left most of this overpriced food on the plate. We've learned our lesson, they overcook food and don't care.

We ate dinner at Maria's in Green Valley Az. for the first time last night and we were very happy with our experience there. We almost didn't go because of the last few reviews of 2021. Don't let those stop you from trying this place. The last couple years have been very hard on the restaurant business in general. If a place managed to keep their doors open through all of this then they are doing something right. One thing Maria's is doing right is having a very hands on manager who also happened to be our waitress. Lisa was great! We were there on a Friday night and the dining room and bar were totally full, and she kept a constant eye on all of it while still giving great customer service. The restaurant was very clean and all the customers seemed to be enjoying themselves. We had prime rib and Ahi tuna and both dishes were delicious. We would highly recommend Maria's restaurant to anyone looking to dine out in this area.

Service was horrible, servers seemed to focus only on the tables of 4 or 6, we were totally ignored.because we were a table of 2. Little did they know they were serving a former Food and Beverage director at a high end Hotel in Minneapolis, who truly believes in generous tipping. Did not feel bad not being generous here. They would come around to ask everyone else how was their meal after being served, yet walked right by us. Yep would have enjoyed another glass of wine, not even asked. Greek salad was on the menu and said Grilled shrimp, shrimp were not grilled, when asked the server said they don't even have a grill!! Meatloaf was mediocre, just luke warm, sure did not taste "homemade". What a waste of time and money, never to go back

I have been here and had an excellent burger or salad, but their meatloaf was the worst in my whole life.
