It was just ok. I had chicken fried steak and it was a little salty and dry. The gravy was just ok. The mashed potatoes were good. The service was excellent. And friendly. Over all it was what I would expect for a great spoon diner. As long as you know what to expect it was good. I would go back when I was in the mood for that kind of restaurant. The price was right.
I have been a part of the village in family for as long as I can remember. I have been eating there as long as I can remember. their food overall has not changedbut they're sure has. I miss the old village inn where things are less modern and it feels more welcoming. I wish they'd kept it to the original design. But now they want to keep up with the times but I think it's time to go back in time to get back what was amazing but the food there is still delicious and I hope that...read full review

Great food and value. Servers were all welcoming. Just wasn't sure who was serving me. 4 different ppl came to table. Took a while in between but finally got a box so i could leave.
