Still sucks. We went in for a quick beer and bite. I could see that the never smiling waitress was going to ignore us, so I went up to the bar to get a couple beers. The bar person told me that she would not serve me. What? Then Miss Friendly the waitress said that it would be over an hour for food. Service without a smile! We left. This is my fourth bad experience at the Ore House, and my last.We went to Mammoth and had a lovely meal at Mi Pueblito with friendly staff and welcoming smiles.

We were absolutely impressed with this wonderful establishment. It was a pleasant surprise after a half day of riding ATVs. The service was very friendly—without going overboard. The food was made fresh with delicious ingredients. Portions were spot on—just enuf without overloading the plate. Our group of 6 had an assortment of cold bar brews, that delightfully quenched everyone’s dry tongue. And to top it all off, the a entire check was above reasonable. If you live local, or planning a day trip, our group highly recommends stopping in the Orehouse Hilltop Tavern.Note: Our dining experience was 3-4pm/Friday.

Was very disappointed for a number of reasons. first off I had a Restaurant.com certificate I purchased about a month ago and was told that the new owners, who have owned for a year, don't take them so that cost me an additional $10. Then my husband ordered the fish but they were out of regular fries and regular tater tots. Then she comes back and says they are out of the fish too. The people who we shared a long table with informed us they were also out of the mushrooms and red onion for the daily special "beef brisket sandwich with sautéed mushrooms and red onions". Why put up a daily special if you don't have the items?! On the plus side our pulled pork sandwich was amazing and our waitress was really nice. Service was a little slow as she was the only one working the front and it looked like only one person cooking.

Food was great but it took at least an hour before we were served the food we ordered. They were slammed at Saturday lunch time. We were told they only had one fryer, which was the reason for the slow service. Waitstaff was friendly and helpful.
Great service, amazing tacos fun atmosphere. Flew in from Washington state and remembered this wonderful place from a trip to Oro Valley several years ago. Worth the drive!

I love coming here to relax . This time was bitter sweet, I brought in my really old bulldog with me to celebrate her life . I was having her go to the rainbow bridge in a few days. She got to eat her own beef patty!! We also shared the delicious tater tots!!
