We were there when they first opened and now it is closing. Such an amazing chef and owner Silvana Salcido Esparza has health problems and has to close. This is a big loss for Phoenix.

My friend and I came in for cocktails. Wanted to stay for food, however it was an hour wait. Understandable. The Cadillac margarita and Bloody Mary were right on point. Hoping to get back again to taste what's on the menu!

The guacamole is made fresh at your table. It is so delicious. The enchilada suizas were fantastic! Service was a bit slow but everything we had was great. About 3 miles from the airportParking: Parking is tricky. There are only a handful of spots for several businesses. Other than that it is street parking

The food is nothing short of outstanding. With authentic Mexican and TexMex both oversaturated in my hometown, this was a nice change of pace. Everything tasted fresh. The personal flare and choice of certain ingredients felt very deliberate and their signature dishes lived up to any hype from past reviews. Kudos to the chef for really creating something unique and personal.

We had a party of 5, they don't take reservations. The problem started on arrival at 6p on a Thursday . We were told 40 minutes, it took 55. It was REALLY warm in the restaurant and only 2 benches to sit while waiting. After waiting 55 minutes we ask about our table and the hostess looked at her list and we saw she crossed out our name after calling for us 5 times. We were literally 6 feet from her. We sit and are asked if we wanted their guacamole we agreed. The poor girl making the guac tableside looked Miserable! It took 15 more minutes for our server to take our drink order. 5 more minutes to take our food order. The drinks arrive and mine was horrible. I've had Mangonada at the Tempe location and it was great, at the Arrowhead location and it was okay. 16th Street location, horrible. Something was off, maybe the Mango? I stirred and stirred tasted 3 sips before I gave up. Barely tasted I returned it to the server and said I normally love that drink but this one was terrible. He took it with a sour face and didn't offer anything else. No one ever came to refill water glasses. The food was mediocre. Our check was $215, definitely not worth it. I had the relleno and for $27 it was just a big chile stuffed with bland mashed potatoes. All 5 of us were disappointed. Never again.
