Wild mushroom pizza was very good!

I dine often at CPK, typically at the Biltmore location but while shopping at desert ridge my friend and I figured we’d stop for dinner in the area as well. The food was amazing as always and came out very fast. Take into account we were the 3rd out of 4 tables dining in at the time, I expected good service however we got the opposite. It started out well with the drinks but after we got our food our server disappeared and by disappeared I mean stood in the very open kitchen not doing anything. I like to consider myself very simple when it comes to dining at restaurants because I am a server myself so I often cut the servers some slack especially when it’s obviously busy but tonight it was not busy at all at this location. Not checking in on your tables after the food is served or refilling drinks when they’re clearly empty is just absolutely unacceptable and I won’t be returning to this location.

It had been a decade since I went to CPK. When I walked in on a Thursday evening, it was pretty slow. So I was surprised that it took a little while for our server to come take our drink orders. This location feels and looks old. When you combine that with the average service, it doesn't make for the best dining experience.I got the mushroom pepperoni pizza. It was okay, nothing special. The part of the pizza with the toppings wasn't very firm and the crust was average. The reason I'm giving three stars is because their key-lime pie is one of the best I've had. Its delicious.I probably won't be coming back here voluntarily. It seems like a good option for families with a lot of kids though. There is also a solid deal where you can take any pizza home to try (bake it yourself I think) for $8 if you purchase an entree.

We recently went to California Pizza Kitchen for lunch- I met my girlfriend before we were going to catch at movie at the AMC theater. The place was very quiet, we were seated right away and our server Conrad was attentive. We brought our drinks and suggested some items- we went for the lunch combo special. We both had the individual pizzas with a salad. We both went for the BBQ chicken pizza and salad. The salad was okay- but both pizzas were on the verge of being burnt. We were pressed for time and didn't want to ask to have them remade for fear it would make us late. They were okay but definitely a bit overdone and dry...too bad. When your establishment is barely occupied- I would think you would pay attention to all the little details to ensure they return and tell of the positive experience they had...not a lackluster experience. There is so much competition- if you're a pizza place your pizza should be on point. I had always enjoyed the location at the Biltmore and lunched there often in the past, this was not the experiences I recalled from the past. I hope it was just an off day for the pizza guy...

I love CPK but maybe it needs to stay in California because the one in Arizona that I went to sucks. Typical Arizona BS ..., the men's club. I am insulted by the fact that I paid for the bill but I was treated like my money didn't matter but the male at our table got all the respect and attention. I'm over it!

Fast and friendly service. We ordered the Hawaiian pizza, garlic pizza, appetizer rolls, and a salad. Everything was cooked and prepared perfectly. The crust is so good. Highly recommend.Parking: Plenty of parking all around the establishment.

My Review, Is Very Poor. The ? Pizzas came out Burnt & cold; another, came out under cooked & cold. The restaurant needs be better organized, because it took 2 1/2 hours all together, to get our food. Plus, there were a lot of flying bugs all over where we were sitting.

Pizza was burnt with little recognizable ingredients. Took a long time for it to be brought to our table. We were sharing a salad and a pizza and told the server. We had to ask for plates and serving spoons for the salad , once delivered. We were never offered a second glass of tea. Mentioned to server that the pizza was burned and he said yes, doesn’t look good. He offered another to see if they could cook another pizza but if already took a long time. It was truly not good…. The servers came to our table on the far side of the table and was approaching from the kitchen side and should of walked around to the proper side. It was not busy in the restaurant. Others were waiting long times for their food too. We have been coming here for years and overall service and food has declined. We will not be back. If bothered my Husband and they did refund our pizza when he said he was dissatisfied with the pizza. Even our Chopped BBQ salad seemed to be missing ingredients. Just didn’t taste the same.

Just ordered our usual take and bake pizza this time the pizza is 1/3 smaller. I guess that's inflation. Good thing there is a new pizza restaurant coming next door to CPK at Desert Ridge. Competition might bring back some quality and quantity to CPK.

The pizza is ok, nothing to rave about, there are much better pizza options around the valley. Was here on a Friday night, got seated right away the restaurant was not even halfway full. Service was not good, we sat at a table near the bar with a wall separating the table from the bar. Our waiter never came around to our table, electing to talk to us and serve us over the wall. He never checked on us to refill drinks, or see if we needed anything. Overall food was fine for a quick option while shopping, but it would never be in my top preferred locations to grab a meal.

Food was okay.I got their fresh strawberry mango cooler mocktail. It was good.Had the chips and white corn guac, it was good. Also got a full ceaser salad it was huge. Also got a pizza to share with my sister. There are 6 slices. We got half pepperoni & half sausage.Sign up for their rewards.

This place has gone downhill. I ordered the Thai pizza and there were barely any toppings. It was awful. I will not return as it was a complete waste of money.

It was the worst pizza undercooked. and cold potstickers cold, we told our server the manager didn't even come to our table gave us 10.00 off the bill but could not take the time to come to our table services was horrible server and mangers was just standing around asked for to go cup lids did fit. Use to be a place when my family came to town we would go no more.

Is located in the Deset Ridge Mall, but a short walk from the parking lot. Their Cobb Salad was fresh and very good. It came with grilled chicken and the full size was big enough to take left-overs home. The pizzas looked very good as well, nice atmosphere with air-conditioning which is great when it is 100+ degrees out.
