This is definitely a neighborhood bar I come in maybe twice a year not my neighborhood. I had a bite to eat and a drink. I said I'll tab out with the bartender. I knew the bill would be under $20. I gave her $40 aka 2 twenties. She gave me $3.50 back with on original twenty. I said I don't like that I gave her the $20 back and said can I have change and she gave me $15 back. She also stated I don't count very well in front of the customers I left her the $3.50 tip. I took that $20 back. I'll leave it at that.

Went in on a random weeknight for drinks - approximately 8-10 people at the bar. Couldn't get the bartenders attention and sat for almost 15 minutes with no one taking an order from us. Tried to flag bartender down and we were blatantly ignored. Not a "I'll be right with you" or "thanks for your patience " - literally ignored. Left to go elsewhere to get a drink. Maybe because we aren't "regulars" but can't become a regular if you can't get served?
Ate here a year ago and it was terrific. Great spot for the neighborhood. Ordered pick up last week. Burger and fries. Bartender seemed to struggle with ringing up the order.Fries were soggy and still slightly frozen. Burger smelled of ammonia and was probably not safe to consume. Won't be back.Sad loss for our neighborhood.
