The best Ethiopian food, ever! They honor GOD , in their business.

It didn’t look like much when we pulled up and walked inside. We got the combo with non spicy tibs for 2-3. It was a packed house , which is always a good sign. The food came out quickly, ~15 minutes. The food was generously portioned, we were offered more bread. It was spicy and each item offered its own unique flavors. I’d absolutely eat there again!

The Doro Wot plate was so delicious, perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The unique spyce flavor is amazing. The prices are reasonable and Mr Tamrat (Owner) treated me like family. I highly recommend First Cup Ethiopian Restaurant to anyone looking for a great Ethiopian Food or coffee.

They have some of the best coffee I’ve ever had. Great tasting food too.

I stopped at this restaurant mainly because it was the closest Ethiopian restaurant to the hotel I was staying at. I am an Ethiopian and I can tell a good Ethiopian food when I taste one. My freind and I ordered a combination dish and the food was excellent. Their espresso machine was broken, so I couldn't try their coffee.

If your looking for True Authentic ethiopian food in the Phoenix area First cup is the way! My favorite dish i highly recommend is Quanta firfir. I always come back for this dish if i am in the area! The owners are so kind and relatable. Thank you for the hard work 💕

My wife lived in Ethiopia for a couple months and she misses it there so I took her here. We both loved the platter we got and experienced the owners sweet and kind hospitality. Can’t wait to return soon.

First time eating Ethiopian food and First Cup did not disappoint! It was so lovely to have so many flavors in one dish and the injera bread was delicious. The owner is so sweet as well. Definitely recommend this place if you are wanting to try Ethiopian food.
