The food was good, but it took way longer than it should have. It was also brought out one roll at a time as it was ready rather than our entire order together. We were warned that the kitchen was backed up before we ordered, and the waiter was friendly. This place definitely wasn't appropriately staffed when I went. Not sure if that's normal here

The food was delicious. I had takoyaki which came with 4 good pieces. Topped with sauce, a drizzle of mayo and bonito flakes. Then black garlic ramen. Noodles were cooked just right, pork and egg on top and a very rich broth.
The server was very nice and helpful. The place is very plain so the only real atmosphere is a nice view of mountains out the windows. There's a bar at the side of the restaurant and there was a happy hour menu.

Got hot green tea, clearly good quality sencha. Got gyoza and seaweed salad to start. Gyoza was not traditional seemed deep fried rather than pan fried but both it and the sauce were very good and exceeded expectations. Seaweed salad was very good on par with my favorite sushi restaurants.

For food I tried the ramen, tuna sashimi, and the soft shell crab/shrimp roll. The roll could have been a touch more filling but flavors were all great, the sashimi was thinner and wider than I’ve typically seen and had a bit of a dried texture to it but was very good tasting fresh wasabi relish was very good touch. The ramen was great, lots of noodles, I personally would have liked more broth less noodles but still very good all toppings tasted great.

For dessert we tried the tempura ice cream, very good! Lots of tempura with almost like a cake like texture behind it and the ice cream was fresh and not overpoweringly sweet. Presentation with the whip cream and cherries was nice too!

The atmosphere was cool the place was empty aside from us but I like the Japanese music. Lots of alcohol options, and the server was attentive and friendly never came by too much or too little. We will be back!

Had the garlic Ramen and Goya pork appetizer. The pork appetizer was really good. Very crispy with great shoyu sauce. My ramen was good. Not fantastic but tasty. They have a great happy hour. The waitress was new and kept forgetting what we ordered but at least she asked. My friend had the miso ramen and I liked his broth better. Definitely needs some heat as there is no hot spice to it at all. Overall I would go again but not go out of my way..

The place is very clean, and has a much more high end vibe than their very reasonable prices might suggest... I had the miso soup, and cauliflower tempura. I think my dinner partner had a ramen? Either that, or he had sushi? Either way, we both liked our food - and the service was impeccable - attentive, but not suffocating. Also, I had one of their craft cocktails, and it was *chef's kiss* .

My only complaint was that the miso soup had LITERALLY not a single piece of tofu in it. Not. A. Single. One. It was just broth, and looked nothing like what's portrayed on their online menu... I'm happy to give them another try though, because it really was promising!
