My family and I came to this restaurant hoping to get delicious pizza. Total to 74 dollars I must mention this before I move on.We ordered our food then gave a one hundred dollar bill. The lady who was writing down our order says "oh I can't take a hundred, I'm just not allowed to." She then goes back to the kitchen asking if she could take a hundred dollar bill. She came back and told us no. "You can go across the street" she says. Luckily there was a Circle K nearby. We got change and came back. Then the cent amount came out to only one cent. She then asks if we have a penny. We do, but then when she opens her register there are all sorts of change from pennies to quarters. Moral of the story if you want to come to this restaurant make sure you have change in dollar bills and 99 cents. And in return you will get bad service for spending your money on pricey pizza.

Garbage Za. Bad service. Not a care in the world. Said 25min wait for two 12" pizzas ended up 40mins. By then we're a starving and the pizza is so hot we have to wait 10more min. Once able to grab the pizza. The center literally just falls of the pizza. Staying in the box with the rest of the slices. After not caring for the pizza I decided to see if I could successfully grab any slice without losing majority of the toppings. Nope. Prepare for a pile of loaded fondue at the end. For $45 for two pizza and two 12oz drinks. I ended up being sorely disappointed when several people walking by suggested the burger shop across the street. Stating it was best in Phx. I said I order some pizza at grand avenue already and almost everyone looked at me like, "why?????" I'd been recommended this spot by friends who are friends with the co owner. I think they may have been a bit biased.

There are some awesome pizza places in downtown Phoenix, this one made its way to one of my faves yesterday! My husband and I stopped by to get some pizza to enjoy on the little patio. Loved the wall art on the patio. My husband did say the bathroom back there was scary haha but the patio was a cool little patio. We ordered a cheese pizza and cheesy breadsticks with a side of ranch. Our food was ready relatively quickly. I think it was a put a few minutes faster than they predicted which was good! The pizza was amazing. Served super fresh and hot out of the oven. A great cheese to sauce to crust ratio. The perfect amount of grease. It was really really delicious. I think next time maybe I'd just get a few slices since we had so much pizza left but so glad we checked this place out and we will definitely be back

One of my personal favorite pizza spots. Easily in my top 5. The most impressive thing about this spot is its uniqueness in their specialty pizza (not sure if changed often) when they have then available AND it closes at 2am. This place is one of my go to late night munchie run go-to's. Can't beat the price and the flavor.

This is what pizza should taste like! My partner works about 5 minutes from this place and brought an 18" Home. It was cold by the time it arrived but it was goooood! The crust was perfect. Cheese all the way to the crust. The flavor - pepperoni fennel sausage and bell peppers. It is good. The best pizza so far in Arizona. Don't miss out.

I ordered Grand Ave Pizza after a school dance at 1am and I swear it was the sexiest goddamn pizza I've ever seen in my life. These pizzas are so nicely priced and beautiful and tasty. And even better they sell single slices. A win for us all. Definitely recommend. Also the area on Grand is super artsy and a beautiful place to go on first Fridays. Def recommend!

After a late flight in at 12:30 AM, I was pleasantly surprised they were open and I was inside their delivery radius. I got the veg out with gluten free crust and no cheese for my vegan wife and a calzone with pepperoni/ basil for myself. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her pizza, the veggies were fresh and gluten free crust was crispy. My calzone was easily one of the best I've ever had. The fresh ricotta cheese inside made it absolutely fantastic. I don't normally make reviews, but after this meal, I had to. Thank you for a great first meal in Phoenix.

Not my favorite slice place. The prices are decent although the slices are on the smaller side. Ordered pepperoni and it was covered in grease. I know pepperoni is greasy but this was 4pm in the afternoon, wasn’t prepared for that grease

Pizza was decent. However, we waited over a full hour after ordering to get our food (2 slices and a 16”). She said it would be about 20 minutes to cook which was fine. After waiting about 40 minutes she asked what name the order was under then came back to say it was almost ready. Had to wait about a half an hour longer to get our food. If you forgot to put the order in, that’s fine but don’t lie that it’s almost ready. Also, an apology for the wait would have been appreciated.

It's always an interesting experience going to Grand Avenue Pizza and getting their special. It never disappoints. Although still great, if you're going for a cheese slice or a pepperoni slice then there's no reason for you to go to Grand Avenue Pizza. You are genuinely missing out on the experience that is this amazing place.

Cute little spot. The pizza was fantastic and all at a great price. It seems to be pretty dead during the day time but I'm sure it's more of a night time spot. Either way the service was friendly and the food is great.

I been holding off for years on leaving a negative review but damn your customer service is TRASH! They deadass had me on hold me for 7 minutes after dude said "I'll be back in just a sec". Every time I go in they act like they don't even appreciate their customers. Bunch of miserable faces. I want to tip these guys with some prozac's cause even the boss man looks bummed to be there. I moved here from NY & idc how busy you are it ain't never took so long to get service. Sad foreal. Step your hospitality up! Sheeesh!

Service here is non existent 45 mins for 2 slices and a small pizza and I would have been better off eating a digiorno from the super market don't waste your money or time. This ain't it ..plenty of other good options with people who actually care about what they serve.

During a birthday bike ride, we were over at Wayward Taphhouse feeling like we should anchor our drinks with a slice or two of pizza. Of course we're hop/skip/jumping our way across Grand to grab some. Couldn't have been happier to discover they had a Breakfast Pizza special. Two of my favorite things as a beautiful delicious handheld mashup. This eggy and bacony goodness also was marked with rosemary potatoes and had a base of sausage gravy, topped with a bit of maple syrup and caramelized onions. Slightly sweet, but perfectly hearty, this was exactly the slice I needed to continue our ride. Yesterday, I thawed out a pork tenderloin for dinner, stared at it, and agreed with my partner that it was a pizza day. As The Aquabats famously once sang, "Hooray for pizza day / It's the best day of the week" We got an 18" Rizzo and a 12" cheese delivered in about 40 minutes to the house. I am a s***** for ricotta on pizza, so I was beyond happy. Partner thought it was a bit on the sweet side - likely due to the caramelized onions. The cheese pizza was adored by my kiddo. Looking forward to many more slices from this nearby spot.
