Used to be good. Now service is slow and prices are ridiculous. Two wings for $6 cmon. PS I ordered a plate of wings and our waitress advised us it would be different than usual (some explanation about the transition to wine pairings) so yes I legit recieved two single wings on a plate for six dollars. You think im joking, but indeed, I received two wings on a plate and nothing more.

Stumbled on this nondescript building a few years ago. In Sonoita there aren't many dining options. Figured a place called the Cafe would be a greasy spoon. Wrongo bongo. More like gourmet burgers with impeccable sides. Always busy & can understand why. Had a beer, burger & side combo. Pleasant staff & service. Great for a Sunday drive.

My best friend and I went here with just the idea of getting a quick lunch and heading out for a hike. Our plans changed quickly as we got extremely excited over the chef’s pairings menu they had. This was our first time wine tasting and it definitely got us in our wine era! The food was absolutely amazing, the wines were delicious and we even came home with a bottle each! They did mention they will be doing a different menu for every season! I cannot wait to go back over and over again!

Fresh food made by some great locals. You can eat a burger that was locally raised, and it's delicious! Fries and onion rings as well. It's a great menu, but Im just a burger guy. Will be back!

I must admit, I was expecting The Cafe to be quite mediocre. Everything else was closed after we finished some wine tastings in the area, so we ended up here, and we were not disappointed. The $5 happy hour menu was great. Everyone's burgers were excellent, the quesadilla was terrific, and both the sweet potato and zucchini fries were very well done. In a very remote place, but if you're in the area, this is a good stop to make.

Came here for a quick bite and loved it. The service was quick and friendly. The vibe is small town cafe. I ordered their mushroom burger and a side of potato salad. It was made perfectly and was very filling. I will be back to try out more of the menu.

The waitress/staff were very friendly, efficient, and polite. How many restaurants these days do you hear "Yes Sir" and "Yes Ma'am"! Food was good, prompt with good portions.

Run away! Place is bare bones... Overpriced and can't make a simple burger.. even with 30 minutes of waiting! Got a burger that was burnt to carbon outside with rare spots inside served with rotten lettuce and green tomatoes. Customer service is non-existent.. they promptly took the bad food with my comments then proceeded with the bill.. I pointed out the burnt and rare burger but they simply wanted the bill paid and started swearing in Spanish. The waiter said they were not responsible and didn't have a manager to speak with.. I specifically pointed out that a customer doesn't pay for something they did get (a properly cooked meal) - they refused to let it go and wanted it paid. Over 7 customers were waiting for food as well.. so avoid the hassle - they can't make a decent meal!

The Cafe serves a limited dinner menu with a list of favorites Thursdays through Sundays until 7pm. We enjoyed incredible weather on the back patio, some tasty shrimp and a portobello mushroom to share. We saw a fantastic wine list and listened to some great patio music from a bluegrass duo for an hour or two. We appreciated having a good option for foods in the small town across the street from our stay in the Sonoita Inn. We will be back!

First time trying The Cafe. Have to say I was disappointed. We got the apple turkey sandwich and the burger of the week. Turkey sandwich was great and we loved the combo of pesto and apple on it. Burger was super disappointing. Ordered it medium rare and it came out almost raw in the center. Sent it back and they brought me back the same patty which I assume they microwaved as the center was boiling hot and half of the meat was well done. To top it all off, it didnt taste like the patty was seasoned. Sides were good and the wait staff was super nice. Don't think I'll be going back.

horrible service - 30 min to get drinks & order 1+ hr for food. ordered medium well burger- got a completely raw burger. no one cared. they would adjust the bill 10%. so i paid $11.70 for 6 greasy onion rings. avoid this place - they are short staffed and they simply do not care.

Absolute best tasting beef I ever tasted. I'm super picky about my hamburgers, but this beef was so good. Plus the pickled tomatoes were delicious. Sweet potatoes fries seemed fresh made. Excellent taste combos.

Love this place. Always so good. They forgot to update online menu and no longer have the three cheese sandwich. They called me and let me know and we made a substitute. They are awesome! I am bummed that they changed their onion rings! They used to be fresh and like beer battered or something. Now they seem like the frozen ones you buy at the store. Still good, but their onion rings are the main reason I go. Because of this, I probably won't go often anymore. They are still a recommended place to eat though! Thank you!
