If their pie is a depiction of the rest of the Cotton & Copper experience, I am SOLD!!! We picked up a slice of their s'more espresso pie for Yelp's Big Night In this past weekend and you guys, it is the best dessert that I have ever had in my life. The chocolate was so decadent and dreamy. The topping was just gooey and delightful and the graham cracker crumbles were salty and paired perfectly with the sweet of the chocolate. I AM OBSESSED. I can't wait to visit in real life for their cocktails and delicious eats! We'll be back soon.

I think they should stick with American food instead of trying to add Asian flavor into midwestern dishes. Their Korean/American fusion dishes like the Korean chicken is bland with way too much corn or some kind of pasta in it. There was barely any chicken in that dish. Their sweet potato sandwich tasted weird and was very dry. The burger was not memorable and fries were meh. The chicken soup was salty and, again, meh. This will be the first and last time I'd try their food.

One of my absolute favorite spots in the East Valley is Cotton and Cooper - by far! I could honestly come here everyday and be completely satisfied. This sounds crazy, but the moment you walk in you feel transported to a speakeasy/prohibition era, and you instantly feel cool. The entire staff is chill, nice and experienced to make tasty and unique cocktails or amazing classics. There is a great vibe and selection of different spirits, especially whiskey!

I do a lot of international travel. Cotton and Copper has world class staff, drinks, and food (especially the vinegar pies). I feel so lucky to have them in my neighborhood!

This place was well over my expectations. The food was amazing. I tried the corn dumpling and bison medallions with veggies. They were super tasty. It's a smaller space but they make the most of if. Drinks are good as well, great selection. Staff are very knowledgeable and great at recommending items. Will definitely be back!

Nice quiet little tavern. The bartenders were very friendly and attentive. The food menu, while a bit limited, looked like everything would have been fantastic. Our food came out in a timely manner and was not disappointing. We would definitely return here again if we we're back in the area.

Great atmosphere, service, and the food is superb...but the cocktails hands down the best.

First the good.  We ordered a couple of gin based cocktails that we really enjoyed.  We split both the humus appetizer and the Jackalope lasagna.   Both were incredible, and perhaps the best lasagna I've ever had.  We enjoyed the apricot pie, but I thought it was a little short on flavor.

First time to find this wonderful place was 3/6/2020. I needed to have a great meal & just sit and relax. Well, I made the best choice for a Friday afternoon. My sandwich and soup was the best ever eaten right here in Tempe! The bread was homemade and the soup was spicy and perfect for me. I don’t get out much by myself because I am just happy to be at home. I will definitely be returning to Cotton & Copper real soon. Thank you for the fabulous food, beer, and service.

All the reviews said it would be. Before I get to food, I have to talk about service. Excellent hostess who gave great insights, kept an eye on openings and ensured great seating. Better than a 5-star matre D. Very impressive and high level for a local venue. Servers wet also quite attentive and they know their dishes. I had the soup and meatless spaetzel. Incredibly layered with flavor and filling. Meal and service were incredibly good and will be back to work through the entire menu! A must when in Phoenix/Tempe!

Had a teeny taste of the food recently and I am a huge fan!! The chef is incredibly talented! The food is beautifully presented and incredibly good. I was a wee intimidated by the sophistication of the menu, but everything was scrumptious.

When there are 7 open tables, your wife is 7.5 months pregnant, and they won't seat you until the other two members of your party arrive (I understand the policy that they only seat full parties but seriously it doesn't take a genius to use their best judgment) you have found the most inconsiderate hostess on the planet. If the restaurant was even remotely crowded I would have completely understood the hostess's position. The food and waitstaff were absolutely phenomenal, but the start to the experience was inexcusable. Will never come back to this place.

Some character among the strip malls of Tempe/Chandler! Excellent food with some delicious novelty, and cocktails are inspired. Ask about the break even pour if you are there on a Wednesday! And the service is awesome and charming.

Met a colleague and her boyfriend at this location The menu was customized, rotating deserts, good selections of beer on tap, nice atmosphere. Customer service was laid back and very positive. I would recommend checking this place out if a relaxed atmosphere

Great to have such a cool bar/restaurant in town. Super selection of cocktails, wines, and beer. Not the largest selection of wines and beer - I think they have gone for quality rather than quantity, but the wines and beer I have tested were excellent. They even have a dry cider that my wife is happy about.

In Tempe for business and decided to check this place out with my boss! What a fantastic surprise this place was! The food choices were different and clever! The theme of this place is old school saloon complete with bartenders & wait staff dressed for the time. All dinnerware is from the time! We had cornbread bites, hamburger and jackalope lasagna..... DELICIOUS! Great mix of all different walks of life and ages! I would say this place is good for kids as they have a kids menu, but more suited for a date night or a happy hour group. Next time I'm here I will definitely be back!

Had my 3rd of 3 great experiences here and wanted to take a second to say thank you!

Nice speakeasy style spot. I love the fact that they get their ingredients locally. The food was amazing and the service was just right.

Not the largest selection of wines and beer - I think they have gone for quality rather than quantity, but the wines and beer I have tested were excellent. They even have a dry cider that my wife is happy about. The entrees and starters are very creatively put together and the ones I have tested taste wonderful. Kudos to the chefs. Overall great atmosphere, food, and drinks

Outstanding place with a great selection of craft cocktails and a truly unique menu. Kinda has that old timey speakeasy vibe, without the hidden entrances or passwords. We're already planning to come back.

A unique and incredible experience. The ambience is approachable but they OWN thier element. The owner was informed, paying attention to the current happenings on food trends but focused on service. It was awesome to see the passion about products & craft, yet a place you felt seen. Seriously, the best food and experience I have in ages. Cannot recommend enough, especially if you are industry.

The hardest working bartenders in America. The effort they put into my little Arnold Palmer blew me away.

We were in town for a business trip and decided to stop in due to the great reviews. Well we are glad we did, everything was great. The atmosphere is modern and laid back, the service was great also attentive but not overbearing at all. The food was amazing, we sampled most of the appetizers on the menu! After those we had some amazing food ( I ordered jackalope lasagna with an egg and fell in love with it). Do yourself a favor and stop in if you are in the area.

This our favorite place. Every single thing they serve is amazing. I had their special quail salad last night and it was perfect!

Too dark! Food overpriced and mediocre. The bourbon selection is decent, but the food left me totally unsatisfied. Went across the parking lot and had a proper drink and food.

The entire staff is chill, nice and experienced to make tasty and unique cocktails or amazing classics. There is a great vibe and selection of different spirits, especially whiskey! I haven't even mentioned the food yet, surprise, surprise - it's also incredible! Originally I didn't want to order the chicharrones, but my husband had to have it. It was such a great surprise and we learned that the sauce changes weekly! The sauce was a little adventure that wasn't too spicy but somehow made our tongues go numb?! I don't know what it was but it was similar to a time I had an elderflower drink and the fuzzy peach drink at the Star Wars cantina in Disneyland! I've also had dishes that include: the bean spread, corn dumplings and the bison medallions. Each offer so much flavor to the point where my husband was scraping the dish for any last little remnants! Each so savory for different reasons and it's hard to order something else when you don't want to miss another taste of what you've already had! I've become a frequent visitor and already can't wait to go again.

All praise for C&C's bison medallions (the broth in which it's cooked is almost like a drug!). The rabbit spätzle is equally distinct, though not as flavorful as the bison. You may have difficulty finding this place; the only marker is a tiny sign reading "C & C." They could do a better job promoting themselves.

Two words FEATURED PROVISION. It keeps us coming back for more and more. Thank you! Can't wait for the next experience

Great ambiance and cocktails! We love sharing the apps, the salmon rillete, chippies. Very healthy and generous pours and the service is always on point. Bummer that they are no longer on Open Table.

Ambience was great food and drinks brilliant, service was on point will be back. Tiffany is amazing!

Absolutely some of the best service, cocktails, and food I’ve ever had! I’ve been here many many times and the verdict remains the same, perfection! To start off, Sean, Tiffany and the rest of the staff provide nothing but exceptional service every time! They understand the very essence of what great service and hospitality is. The Quick, attentive, knowledgeable and skillful staff provide an amazing experience whether you’re dining in for a full dinner or stopping by for a couple cocktails there is nothing not executed perfectly here. Cocktails are always on point and consistent! The menu provides easy navigation and is easily understandable no matter what knowledge of craft cocktails you have. As If that wasn’t enough, the staff can answer any question you may have as well. Food is out of this world, the most recent time I was in I ordered the Game Steak which was served with a roasted squash purée or gravy. Out of this world, rare on the inside but had a beautifully crusted outside seasoned to perfection! Needless to say Cotton and Copper is a South Tempe must and will only impress! Cheers to you!

Had an awesome date night here. We've been meaning to come for over a year and finally made it happen. Even with all that expectation it didn't disappoint.

Valerie Higgins

Great food and atmosphere. Not great for large groups. Be prepared to wait even if you just want a cocktail at the bar.

A friend had asked me if I wanted to join her on trying a few valley restaurants in the valley before the end of year and 1st up was Cotton & Copper and I told her yes! Lets go! We meet up at on a Thursday evening and got a table right away. After checking out the drink menu I went with a French 75: gin, lemon, simple syrup and prosecco. This was a great cocktail! Perfect way to start the evening. Then we started with the corn dumpling appetizer, balled & fried into perfect bites. Very tasty! For dinner I went a juicy burger topped with think grilled onion slices and cheese on a pretzel bun with fries. This burger did not disappoint! One the things I really loved about Cotton & Copper was that everything is served on fancy fine china, the kind your grandma only let out when company or special occasions happened. So it made even this burger feel fancy af. The best part of the meal was dessert! I was able to get a slice of the Prickly Pear custard pie with a coffee caramel topping. This was one of the best custard pies I have had. Enjoyed my meal at Cotton & Copper and definitely looking forward to coming back.

First time visit. Very good food. Had French Dip and 2 desserts. Great drinks also. Great local vibe.

You are part of the place as soon as you walk in...food is outstanding and the service is just as it should be...not too intrusive but enough to make sure you feel welcomed... If you have not been here.....YOU ARE MISSING OUT‼‼

Spent a grand evening here with some friends, and worked my way through the appetizer and cocktail menus (as you do).

Alex Atkins

Amazing whiskey selection, great food with local ingredients and specialty game meats. The desserts are exceptional. Excellent service.

Sad, disappointed, it's a lie. I had a mushroom pastrami like sandwich and it was terribly over salted. My husband had a patty melt and it was over salted, the meat was overcooked with desiccated chilies. Tried the prickly pear custard pie. The crust was so hard you could not cut into it with a fork, no exaggeration. Never experienced this before in a restaurant. I saw so much hype for the food all over the Internet and yelp that I had to provide a truth to others.
