I've had the unfortunate experience of ordering catering from Jimmy John's on multiple occasions, and unfortunately, they have consistently fallen short. The most recent incident has compelled me to share my disappointment. On the day of my scheduled pickup at 10:30 in the morning, I arrived only to be informed that the restaurant decided to open at 12:00 that day because they neglected to put out the bread in the morning. Shockingly, I received no prior notification about this change in their operating hours. This lack of communication left me frustrated and inconvenienced, not to mention the larger group I had ordered for was severely impacted.The unreliability of the service and the failure to communicate such significant changes in a timely manner are unacceptable. The inconvenience caused to both myself and the large group I had ordered for is not something I take lightly. As a result of these repeated disappointments, I have decided not to order from Jimmy John's in the future. I sincerely hope that they take customer satisfaction and communication more seriously in the future, as these experiences have left me with a negative impression of their catering service.

They need to stop offering delivery services if they never have no one available. They've cancelled my orders three times in the last two weeks.

Awful. Ordered a catering order over a week in advance with this location, money was taken from my account - came at the exact time of pickup and the entire store was closed. Not one employee, and the doors were locked over an hour after posted opening time. I spent over $1000 on catering and not one time was I contacted about any changes or cancellations. Had to scramble to come up with food for 200+ people in an hour. Do not order from here.

Can't even rate the food because the delivery order was never prepared. Called another store and apparently this store was locked with no staff during business hours. Would be 1 star if I didn't get an automatic refund.

This place has a bicycle delivery person to deliver the sandwiches, I make sure to order a bottled drink and not a fountain drink every time and tip well to be considerate to those riding in the sun all day.

Over the last 3 weeks I have tried to get a sandwich 5 times. The staff has had several excuses as to why the lobby is closed for ordering. Either their oven is broken, or they are short handed. Today their refrigerator was broken. The adults (very loose term) have no customer service skills.

the men who work at this location today are bizarre. I would never leave a review for a chain restaurant but omfg these guys have the worst energy. Like all they did was grunt in response for every interaction we had. The sandwiches were like so incredibly nasty, they are def not changing out products on the line bc my tomatoes were like moldy. We had asked for things on our sandwich and they were not on them. I also had added a pickle on the side, didn't get it. I had to go back in and ask. There was a hair in my sandwich. Also the guy with the long hair just handed me the sandwiches without a bag and no napkins and when I asked they had be reach behind the counter and grab them myself lmfao. I by no means need people in the service industry to put on a performance but these guys truly do not care at all.

I made an order on the app for delivery at 7:40 PM. They called me back to tell me they were not delivery drivers and if I would like to pick it up. I simply stated I was not able to pick it up and to please cancel my order and refund my money. The person on the phone said no problem. It’s almost been a week and they have not refunded my money so I had to dispute it on my credit card. Be very careful ordering delivery with this particular Jimmy John’s because they will not refund your money when they do not have delivery turned off in the app. If they don’t have a delivery driver, no problem but you need to refund people their money. I am out $23.

Placed an order through DoorDash. Called the store 40 minutes later. She says my order is on the way and thanks me for calling in. Over an hour later the store is closed they have my money and I have nothing. These people are incompetent at best. Unreal

Wow. The Mill Ave location definitely has its struggles. (I remember the time one of its managers was going through a housing issue (?) and she used the back window to store all of her worldly goods). I only go here when I am desperate. Yesterday I placed a to go order, and headed over. Once it was ready, they placed the sandwich the counter, no bag, no napkins, no cookie, no cup. So I went on my regular JJ scavenger hunt. Someone had left some crusty residue on one of the cups, I mentioned the issue and put it lip down on the counter. The employee popped it right back on the stack. How they pass any inspections is beyond me. It’s like JJ‘s corporate could care less about this location and it shows.Just found out this isn't a Jimmy John's affiliated with corporate but instead an independent location. It all makes sense now...now that I know ABSOLUTELY NO ONE IS OVERSEEING THIS LOCATION there will be no darkening of this JJ's doorstep again.

Service from this location is always above and beyond. And the food is absolutely the best Jimmy John's it's always great but this location they do it better than any of them
