Mmm… the photo does not do the experience justice. Groovy Snooze, in the heart of the city's student district, is a nice escape from the golf and cowboy hat-wearing folks closer to the city. Tempe is a land of nose-piercing progressivism, yet this place offers everything for the discriminating vegan or carnivore. For me, the delight was the habanero pork belly bacon - four spicy, thick bits of pig that balanced splendidly with the sweet pineapple upside-down pancakes. One serving was enough for me, and it was served in a creamy cinnamon sauce with a dollop of cinnamon butter in the middle. All so good! Our friendly waiter kept the coffee mugs and water glasses filled. It's a way better option than the chains, and the prices are around the same.

Came here because my partner is vegan and I'm non vegan so snooze is one of the few places we can get breakfast together. We had our food and coffee brought out to us, but the coffee cups had this caked on coffee stain on each of them. Thinking that it was a stain, I continued to drink it until I used my finger to rub it off and it was removed easily! Each mug had this brown grime from built up coffee on each of them. Super gross. I also asked for ketchup and the person I asked totally forgot and it took a while for our server to come check on us. Food was subpar for the price, which was $66 including tip for a vegan bowl, vegan pancakes, two coffees and a scramble. Won't be coming back!

The breakfast experience at this establishment was exceptional. Despite our large party of 8, they seamlessly accommodated us with efficiency and warmth. The staff exhibited a friendly demeanor throughout our visit, adding to the welcoming ambiance. The menu boasted an array of options for both food and drinks, ensuring everyone found something to their liking. Every dish we tried was not only fresh but also packed with flavor, highlighting the kitchen's commitment to quality ingredients. The atmosphere of the place complemented the dining experience perfectly, providing a comfortable and inviting space to enjoy our meal and company. Overall, it was a delightful breakfast outing that left us thoroughly satisfied and eager to return.

Food was ok we were excited to try this place. It was good but not what we expected. I could been better. We sat outside and it look pretty dirty from the day before, really noisy we couldn’t have a conversation, we have kept looking for our server to get coffee, or any other thing we needed it like ketchup.Parking: You have to park in the street and paid, make sure you get enough time, we paid for two hours and barely made it.

I decided to order a crispy garlic and avocado miso rice bowl besides a coffee and a soft drink. The bowl was good in taste, I just couldn’t taste anything of the touted garlic in the dish. But I liked the miso flavor and the combination of rice with poached eggs. And the coffee was good. The staff member serving me was friendly. I would return when hungry in the morning.

03/23/24 @8:35 lady working at the bar was rude and felt that I was being treated differently. Although the food was good, I just didn’t feel the good vibe I wanted to feel. Gilbert location is better with service and food. I didn’t bother to tip her because of her attitude. Just because you wake up grouchy doesn’t mean you take it out on your customers. I might as well go back to the Gilbert location

Had a quick work breakfast meeting at Snooze this morning, and loved it! The menu is really fun - not just your regular breakfast place. The hostess and the bartender were both friendly and attentive and made me feel like this is the kind of place that I could hang out. Also, the Vegan pancakes were top notch! I'm a bit of a pancake connoisseur, and these had great flavor and texture, especially for being vegan. I'll definitely be coming here more often!

Snooze is a favorite of ours. I've visited multiple locations in AZ and I keep pushing for one in Utah. Let's have an open conversation about making this happening. Please ? ? ? anybody...please.

Enjoyed the food and atmosphere here. Lots of options on the menu including vegan options which is rare for a breakfast menu. Would certainly return.

They are remodeling so areas were closed off, which made for uncomfortable and close noisy seating. There was a slight disagreement over our free pancake. Eventually, what we wanted was served.Overall, it was a stressful experience. Will try again when remodeling is completed
